kevtheskin Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Hello folk's. A wee question to you all. I was thinking of getting my UK Spec Wagon(S reg 98) remapped but have been told that i would need either another Ecu or a Prodrive kit which would cost loads. Can anyone help with this question. " mce_src=""> Thanks Kev
mrbadger Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 I've a 98 UK wagon and what a difference after it got an Apexi FC and map from Andy Forrest. Better fuel consumption and loads more power. Lots of features on the Apexi that you can monitor. One of the best mods I've done so far.
eurosti Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Enduring solutions are devolping a replacement board for 97+ cars, the Apexi is your best route at the moment like Badger has said.
ormiboy Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Apexi + Andy F map = Much happiness. Simple mate, just go for it.[] i did and as said was well worth the money. Cheers Willie
kevtheskin Posted August 15, 2007 Author Posted August 15, 2007 Hi again.Badger when you say better fuel consumption whats your average mpg??. Kev
mrbadger Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 About 240 going up to 280 per tank depending on roads and right foot. Worst so far for a tank of V-power is 230 miles. It's not a major difference but I expected worse consumption after modding from standard. It's about 20-40 miles more than I used to get per tank in standard form.
kevtheskin Posted October 4, 2007 Author Posted October 4, 2007 Hello again .What price are we looking at for the Apexi FC
RA Dunk Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 all your questions answered here www.andyforrestperformance.co.uk
stuarted Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Echo all above re the Apexi, can't go wrong. Good for 700bhp plus and £180 plus VAT a map from Andy after your first should you tweak things! Whats your spec?
kevtheskin Posted October 5, 2007 Author Posted October 5, 2007 Thanks guy's for all the info. Going to have to get saving then or hope that Santa does exist. Getting my decat downpipe fitted next week so hopefully feel a wee bit of a boost . Thanks again Kev
