Tryin to get ma 205 to knockhill on sunday for speedsunday.

Got the trailer for it but nothing to tow it with anyone got any suggestions? can anyone help?

One option i have is to be towed up by a mate via a tow rope is this legal? cars lights all work and everything just it isn`t MOT1d at the moment.

Anyone know the law for towing?

Thanks greig

Am sure the car has to have a current MOT before you are allowed on the track at knochill, well thats the rules anyway, dont know how strict they are.

Legally you can only tow a car using an a frame or rope to move it out of danger if broken down.

To transport it you need a braked trailer or braked tow dolly.

I'm bored, so did a bit of hunting about on the tinternet.

Avon & Somerset police website says: "If the vehicle is not Taxed and the MOT is out of date then the vehicle
can only be towed to a pre-booked MOT at an official MOT testing
station."

So, no - if the car being towed isn't MOT'd then you can't tow it to Knockhill
