Plenty of lovely gardens and houses in Carnoustie even know of a guy who is going to rent out his house and a field for offers over £25,000 for the week for the golf more if the money is right.

There is quite a big golf course there, maybe that would do.

Dougster theres park and ride for a 10pound .Arbroath Smokie is there selling his smokies and food wise its dear .£1.90 for a 500ml bottle of coke .Theres three golf courses the championship which the open is on . Burnside,Buddon and you could count Barry golf course aswell

I know it's expensive, and I was at Loch Lomond for the Scottish last w/e.

It's just a thought because I don't fancy the journey home full of haddock and bubbles!!

I was speaking to Iain Arbroath Smokie today .Dougster get the train in to Carnoustie either get of at Golf Street holt or Station Road and its not far either way to the entrance of the golf .

When we got the train home in '99 we rattled a bottle of malt between three of us......that was on top of the visit to the beer tent during the day!
