colzo Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Noticed recently alot more familiar names joining ScoobyNet. I'm a regular over there as the info and quickness of replies is great, but prefer the Scottish Scoobies as the Scottish section on SN is dead (think there was a falling out some time ago). Good to see some names I know. [Y] Keep up the Scottish presence.
thewelsho Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Yeah, I just registered over there. I asked a question about disabling the seat belt warning tone and I wasn't best pleased with the response. People were too busy judgeing me rather than helping me to do it. I'm 42 years of age for pitt's sake, I don't need to be told what a seat belt is for. Not that I was intending moving, but I will be sticking here, just wanted to see how the other half lived I guess.
scientific steve Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 seems to be a good number of folk there that want to try and B/S you about stuff and jump on the bandwagon of "oh, your so wrong, how can you live with yourself" but there are also a huge number of folk who want to and can help out with good info []
corsa Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Why on earth would you want to disable the seat belt warning thingy anyway John?

When I was in Spain a few weeks ago I noticed a lot of the taxi drivers had a spare seatbelt end , which they clicked in in place of their belt , to stop the warning sound [] . . . . I was shocked [] and I'd never , ever suggest that you might get them cheap from a scrappy [] Al.
marky.t.s Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 Why on earth would you want to disable the seat belt warning thingy anyway John? coz its not required when your using a 4 point harness ,mibbies for trackdays.????........wild guess![]
