scouk Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 I'm so jealous!! Went to the fintry hill climb a few months ago with a cousin of mine and ever since then we've been on the lookut for good Pug205 (or maybe 106) to make into a hillclimb/sprint car! Looks like you got a beauty there! Nice one! and with trailer which is always a bonus! Good Luck with it mate! I'm sure you'll have loads of fun! [Y][Y][Y]
Spaceman Posted July 7, 2007 Author Posted July 7, 2007 Cheers mate am sure i will too can`t wait. I really want to hillclimb it too just nervous about gettin started ill be so slow lol. Check pistonheads too. in the motorsport section. If you were looking for a rolling shell with everything on it except the engine gearbox and brakes i know of a fully rebuilt one that is the best i have seen and is as new, was going to buy it if this one had fallen thro. (the car failed to sell on ebay think it was listed in the wrong place.) want a link? Cheers greig
scoobaroo Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 Looks a cracker m8 [Y] Think youll have fun with that little pocket rocket [H] Marty. p.s. nice pis too.
glen_cadwallader Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 Nice one, fantastic way to get into some motorsport, I had a Nova rally car for a while it was an ex macrae driven car, all the best with it m8.
fiestajohn Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 The problem you will find with Hillclimbs and Sprints is that the Road car class has a capacity split at 1800cc so your 205 (very nice by the way) will be in the over 1800cc class which puts it up against some VERY quick turbo 4wd cars including John Stevensons 500Bhp Scoob. Dont let that put you off though,in Hills and Sprints there is usually someone close to your times that you can compete with. Anything you want to know about Hillclimbs just ask. I have been racing a Fiesta for years at Doune, Forrestburn and Fintray.
wheelchairscooby Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 think that wee baby monster could be quick nice one m8
