I think I've upset someone upstairs

My car has been off the road for 3 months having upgrade works done under the hood (full details will be posted later).  Today, was the happy day I had to collect her.  I couldn't wait.  I got up to Nottingham from Bromley and heard her running.  Absolute heaven. I paid for all the work that was done and was handed back the keys.  I pulled out their drive and.....

... a poxy f***king truck side swiped me!!!  "Sorry mate, didn't see you".  B0110x damn p!$$.....

The front offside corner is a mess.  The company took the car in again and put her on hoists to make sure all was well structurally which it happily appears all is ok and I was able to drive her back to Bromley.  However, where's this karma come from?  Who have I upset to deserve this????

On a happier note, my car sounds fantastic!!!  I can't wait to bring it to a meet now I've finally got her back.

Oh yes.  Time to write a stroppy letter to their insurance company I think and send a few photos and quotes for the repair.....

Well, the near side doesn't look too bad.....

Sadly, the offside is not quite so good.  Can anybody recommend a good bodyshop in the Bromley/Orpington area.  I'm thinking of possibly trying to get them to just settle it private so it doesn't affect my no claims.

Also, anybody got any ideas on what I can do with that numberplate.  I really don't like it there!

Don't know if it's any help but when I took my wing out on the garage wall [:$] we bought a new one from GBK, you'll find them on e-bay, very reasonable and good service.

Good luck with getting it sorted out - I was gutted and that was self inflicted!

I live in College Road, opposite the old BMW dealership. Don't know if you are near that?

I'm getting quotes of around £1300-1500 for the two panels.  Car is being collected Monday so at least the wheels are in motion to get it all sorted :-)
