Help: Car upholster - repair/replace damaged backseat benchunit

Hi

 

Cause of my stupid uncle hes cause 3 rather large gouge marks in the backside bench of my car, at points its comepletely picked whole strands of the weave material out along the gouses. In total there are 3 ones about 6-10 inchs long with a other small one where the Suitcase stopped.

All this cause he was in rush to get his suitcase into the back seats of my car [:'(]

 

Anyway any got any idea if this sort of thing is mendable or I have to replace the back bench unit?

Does anyone have any contacts I can try?

Pete are your seats the plain black weave effect trim. If so I would be interested in a repair also as i bought my car with a really poor repair carried out on an area about the size of a 50p. It bugs me everytime I look at it so if you get any joy could you PM me some details. Cheers

Pete - there are two guys breaking 03-plate WRX's over on SNet - you might be able to pick up a new back seat.

 Both are in Private - General I think.

Pete, spoke to my mate at the weekend an basically he reckons from your description of the damage, that it would be just as cheap to A) get a re-trim or buy a new back bench.
