ScoobieFloz 15,687 Posted October 8, 2017 Tweaked the route to account for fuel ? Looks like there is only 1 non-V Power stop over the whole weekend ?
ScoobieFloz 15,687 Posted October 20, 2017 I am not sure when others are leaving and which way they are going but I will be leaving the wonderful Midlands Friday morning and will be stopping at Penrith Shell garage, (the Scoob will be a little parched by then) I aim to get there for 13:00 and then head up to Glasgow (Paisley) and get there for about half past 3. If anyone wants to meet up along the way let me know.
STImulation 140 Posted October 22, 2017 (edited) Just to confirm, is this the Penrith Shell garage you'll be filling up @ - https://en-gb.facebook.com/ShellPenrith/ ? Edited October 22, 2017 by stimulation
ScoobieFloz 15,687 Posted October 22, 2017 Yes that is the plan. Saw your PM, I am pretty sure they are OK now.
The Don 40 Posted October 22, 2017 There's always Tesco Superstore at Carlisle - 20miles further north.................... https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Carlisle/@54.8968549,-2.8962833,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x487d1a5bd39106d9:0x2dfb16334bc37bad!8m2!3d54.8968518!4d-2.8940946
ScoobieFloz 15,687 Posted October 22, 2017 I know it well, I poured fuel all down my leg there when the pump didn’t auto shut off
scouk 6 Posted October 23, 2017 Damn!! Can't believe I only just found out about this event... :'( Hope y'all have a great run!
ScoobieFloz 15,687 Posted October 25, 2017 A slight scare when I heard a slight noise coming from the front wheel garage has inspected and cleaned it all up and no more noise
The Don 40 Posted October 25, 2017 Just noticed you are doing Applecross in reverse to how it's been done before - should be interesting
