Subaru Loch-down

The route has been finalised and is a 2 day drive of 550 miles in total visiting Loch Lomond, Fort William, Applecross Pass and Loch Ness.

More details and accommodation info will be available later in the year.

If I'm about and not away at work I might manage one day, never done Applecross and quite fancy it.

Might be up for this also I work as a photographer for a living so would be more then happy to drag all my camera and gear to get photos for who ever would be interested I'll keep an eye on this post to see where you plan to stay overnight etc 

The plan is to stop somewhere around Kinlochewe. I will firm up the plans and route after this weekends Wales run.

So guys, while I finalise the route I thought I would let you know the plan.

• Saturday 28th Leave the from the Premier Inn (Paisley) at 09:00
• Finish day 1 route at Kinlockewe Hotel (Stay overnight) http://www.kinlochewehotel.co.uk/
• Sunday 29th Leave Kinlockewe Hotel at 09:00
• Finish day 2 at Premier Inn (Paisley) 

I am also booked in the Premier Inn for both nights (Fri 27th & Sun 29th)

Gutted not going to be able to make this one! my girlfriend is due to give birth around this time!!! Hope you all have a good one ?.... ?looking fwd to the next.....

Tweaked the route to account for fuel ? Looks like there is only 1 non-V Power stop over the whole weekend ? 

Can’t wait for Applecross pass. 

I am not sure when others are leaving and which way they are going but I will be leaving the wonderful Midlands Friday morning and will be stopping at Penrith Shell garage, (the Scoob will be a little parched by then) I aim to get there for 13:00 and then head up to Glasgow (Paisley) and get there for about half past 3. 

If anyone wants to meet up along the way let me know.

I know it well, I poured fuel all down my leg there when the pump didn’t auto shut off 

Damn!!  Can't believe I only just found out about this event... :'(

A slight scare when I heard a slight noise coming from the front wheel  garage has inspected and cleaned it all up and no more noise 

Just noticed you are doing Applecross in reverse to how it's been done before - should be interesting

What would be really interesting is doing it IN reverse
