  1. Looks like someone sat on it, some people just have too much time and money!
  2. I just spoke to them and it is supposed to be like that, no plugs or bungs. Thanks anyway mate, i hope all is well with yours and you have no further issues. Thanks again, Ian
  3. Now reading this really does f*ck me off ! Evilsoup, did you get yours painted ? Yes mate i did, and found out yesterday when i had it fitted that there was a washer rolling around inside it somewhere and there was no fitting kit either, which means no bolts, no instructions and NO template!!! Because of this a 2 hour job took closer to five hours!! If you have recieved it as well could you let me know if there are 6 large holes under the wing that can be seen when your standing next to it or did yours come with coloured caps or something to hide them because they could be part of the fitting kit. If not, i have to say i aint at all happy, the wing is supposed to be a quality replica and with big holes under the wing i am embaressed to open the boot!!!!!!!!![:$] Thanks mate.
  4. I ordered mine a week ago Friday via a finance agreement and recieived them this morning! No reason at all for you to be waiting any longer than you have since your order was clearly in before mine!! I was on the phone every couple of days though just to keep a tab on where they were, just keep calling.
  5. Thats great, I almost pi22ed my pants! My wife would agree.
  6. I like his filing method, looks very organised! lol!![]
  7. Mother flunking bastread winkers!!!! I would love to catch some bum doing that, i would keep them locked in the basement for six months with only pi22 and stools for sustinance!!!!
  8. Nice one peeps, Thanks for the info, i will order it now.
  9. Forget the police! If that was my car the wife would be in several black bags in the boot!!!!
  10. Has anyone bought an Sti wing from scoobyworld and was it as good quality as they claim? Im after an Sti 8/9 wing ready painted. Thanks Ian
  11. Ooo thats nasty! Wonder if the woman that did it is in the boot?![]
  12. Not a great list but it is improving! 1/ 1.3 Lada Riva Estate in cream[:$] 2/ 1.6 Hatchback Cavalier 3/ Fiesta XR2i 4/ Escort Si 5/ 1.4 VW Lupo ( I was being sensible, it only lasted for 6 months and i had to change it) 6/ MR2 Roadster 7/ 06 WRX (finally)[]
  13. Getting one myself and im not going to paint it, at the end of the day on the standard spec-c its unpainted and you dont want to look like your going for a maxpower look do you! See here:http://www.webwombat.com.au/motoring/news_reports/images/sti-spec-c-2006-3.jpg
  14. Ye, you probably just bottomed out, iv done it myself. The car is built to take it so i wouldn't worry too much, thats not me saying that you wont eventually damage it mind if you did it regular! You must have been really canning it. Nice one![]
  15. Did the same to mine a few weeks ago but on both sides of the car, i hadn't had much sleep, honest. Anyway, i thought about doing it myself but considered it a bit risky since if i fik up the wheels it would have made the whole car look sh@t. So i called Car Medic and they did both for £50 quid. I know its not cheap but it was worht it, i tried to show my brother where the damage used to be just 30 min after the guy had left and i couldnt find it. They are like new! I dont have an international number but i do have a contact in Cardiff who can pass you on to someone local, Its 02920549380 You might not want to pay but if you change your mind they do a great job. Hope this helps Ian[]
  16. It does look a little like a Seat or a Daewoo even; if your rub you left eye with an onion and squint. And the MR2 looks a bit like a Ferrari if you do the same, but it doesnt make it a Ferrari! Its still a 4WD 2.5 turbo scooby with more speed and power than any Seat or Daewoo driver has ever experienced in their el cheepo cars!!!
  17. Read an article in EVO mag i think, dont quote me, and they tested all the super and premium unleaded fuels including optimax and the 99oct tesco stuff. Overall the optimax came off as the best fuel and i thnk, if i remember correctly, it produced more power than the tesco fuel when run in the same engine! If i can find it i will dig out the article.
  18. The EVO looks spot on, i think it will work on a scooby. Someone on here must have done it already, everything else has been done!
  19. I have to agree with Scoobykev, no point spending money on a respray only to make it look like it needs a respray, unless of course you go full two tone down the sides. Think it could look pretty cool!
  20. Thanks mate, I will do.[]
  21. I have all the relevant paperwork from Malta and the car has had its 1000 mile service, but the 2 dealers that i have spoken to have both told me that i have to follow the service manual or it will void my warrenty. I think if you find a sympathetic dealer you havn't got any problems. What dealer did you speak to?
  22. Hi all, I have recently purchased an imported WRX and this week recieved my service and warrenty book from Malta and it says that i have to service my car every 3000miles! I have been told that there is someone who has a lot of information on this subject who purchased an 05 from Motorpoint (possibly Steve?). Is there anyone who can help! Thanks, Ian.
