  1. Got done for 47 in a 30 on my bike and ended up with 6 points instead of 3 by trying to be clever and get off with it so just be honest and live with the punishment.
  2. I put a set of 1144's on my old wagon but they warped the original discs and turned them blue in a couple of weeks but worked great with some ebay sourced grooved and drilled ones.
  3. Glad i'm not a townie the worst we've had is the wife catching some college kids taking photos of the car on their mobiles, and they didn't believe its hers until she blipped the alarm !
  4. Got these for sale but as they don't fit over the big brembo brakes. As new apart from one scuff one done a couple of thousand miles. Make me an offer if interested. <center> <img src="http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h51/zxr7...ve/40600007.jpg" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"><br><br> <img src="http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h51/zxr7...ve/40600006.jpg" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"><br><br> <img src="http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h51/zxr7...ve/40600005.jpg" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"><br><br> </center>
  5. Not a fan of red cars usually but how could you not like that old porker.
  6. Cheers guys i had 1155's on the old car and they were great but never tried them on track. Tried alloys on today but they don't clear them brembo's so guess the pirellis are getting a tanning.
  7. I'm going to be doing my first track day on the 9th of june and wondered if it's worth buying a set of red stuff pads ? as i'd like to have brakes on the way home. Car is a '03 Sti PPP with about 320bhp Also don't want to wreck my ppf7s and pirellis so would i be ok with a set of 17's with 205/45's yokohamas which i've got in the shed. Steve

  10. Bought the plate off fleabay for my other half (Babs) but ironically she does a couple of nights a week in a chippy so it's very appropriate.
  11. Now i know its bad to laugh at someone elses misfortune but it was very minor, the car involved had just left the road and ended up on the grass and looked fine but i had to laugh at the sticker on the back which read "Thank god for jesus" I bet thats not went through his mind when he left the hard stuff !
  12. Thanks everyone. Had a choice between this or a totally standard one same age/miles and price so i think we chose right. It's the wifes daily driver but it has been agreed that i can take it to knockhill once in a while :-)

  16. The closest rounabout to me even has the road numbers written in each lane but people STILL go in the wrong lane then cut in at the last minute . Glad i drive a landcruiser most days.
  17. My local tyre place sends them to a company called prestige who only work on proper wheels ( no nasty halfords jobs) and return them to new condition. Not sure if they have a website but worth a search.
