  1. If I decided to mod the P1 further it would have to be a remap, high flow d.p., walbro fuel pump and uprated oil pump. With the filter and straight through centre section exhaust I could expect to see approx 330bhp and 300lb/ft. All for £1200.

  3. I am trying to set up a deal with the guy in the link below for the carbon dash for the classic scooby. Don't know if he does one for the new shape. Let me know if there is anyone interested and i will let you know what the result is once he gets back to me. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/97-99-00-01...itemZ8039247491
  4. Hope to be heading along to this as well.
  5. Of to knockhill for the Top Marques day on Sunday. Its on from 11- 3 and cost £75 if anyone else is interested.
  6. I was quoted £500 plus vat from Andy F to remap ma P1, so its not too bad imho.
  7. How much do those boys charge for a crate of 10 ?
  8. Just need to sort out payment etc with the OZ. How much does Dunc charge for labour ?
  9. Sourced a set from Australia for approx £90 including postage. Do you think Hypertech will still fit them for me even if I didn't buy them from there ? Anyone got a contact no: for truegrip to get geometry done.
  10. Been in contact with them and its £142 for Alk and £55 for geometry set up. Didn't think it would be as much as that but never mind. Got my eye on a set from a web site in Australia which including postage will work out cheaper than getting them here. Just need someone to fit them.
  11. Does that include the fitting ?
  12. What price do they come in at?
  13. Was thinking of getting this fitted to my P1, but is it worth it and how much will it cost? Oh and where is the best place to get it fitted, thanks.
  14. Would using BP ultimate with millers octane booster make any difference or are we still better of running on optimax even although there are clearly problems with it.
  15. Asked GGR about the one they are selling on ebay and he informed me that it is the same one as they have on their 500bhp demonstrator. Its going for £160 with £8 postage.
  16. Another vote for Mintex here. Got the M1166 which are race/rally pads from www.asperformance.co.uk for £65 and that was for the prodrive/alcon 330mm kit. Should be able to get them cheaper if it is the standard caliper you are still running. Apparently Mintex have over produced these pads, thats why they are going so cheap. Half price I think.
  17. 18-12, needn't say anything else. FFFFFFRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDDOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM.
  18. Go for the 18's then clad them with toyo R888 or Dunlop trackdays tyres, or something equally as sticky and enjoy
  19. First trackday of the year for me and the misses and thoroughly enjoyed it appart from those cones. Spoke to the marshall who was doing the signing on who informed me that they had too many people going off on their driving schools, so started to put them out to assist people with the lines. Yesterday was just an experiment to gain feedback from us lot as to what we thought. If they got too much negative feedback then they would not risk the chance of losing attendees and more importantly to them, money and would remove them for future SIDC/TOP MARQUES days. I like the new widened track. Apparently it cost £300,000 to complete, but the inside of the pit straight is subsiding. This will be rectified before the first race meet in March.
  20. You need to get in touch with that lawyer that the stars use to get them off with loop holes in the law m8.
  21. What age of car is it? If its a classic, then you would be looking at either 205/45/17 or 215/40/17. 18's would be 215/35/18 or 225/35/18 which I am running. If its the new shape then it would be 225/45/17 or 225/40/18
  22. Thanks m8. See you tomorrow.
  23. Thanks guys. Hope to see you on Sat for loadsa fun.
  24. Don't know, but you made sure it will fit. Looks a tad on the large side.
  25. Think you would have a problem seeing where you were going with that scoop.
