  6. Wouldn't do anything for my immediate neighbours, but did take my dad up to his doctors appointment and then went out to get him painkillers later in the day, he's not confident driving in snow anymore even in his scoob.
  7. Mine had fun in an empty country park, only probem is the bigger skirts act like a plough when it was sideways, still scoob loved it, its what she was made for.
  8. All my boys are off so is Matt, took boys over the country park for a play, it was brilliant, really enjoyed ourselves and hopefully made good memories for the kids to look back on. We dont get snow like this often so i say enjoy why we can. As for gritters there were loads on A2/M2 last night between gillingham and dartford but they wasn't making a big impact on the surface snow, it was coming down hard.
  9. I feel a play in the country park coming on.....
  10. Hear Hear, perhaps the males need to explain the whole scoob wave thing to their other halfs, dont understand how any female can feel threatened by a wave, its not like an invite. Matt waves at anyone with a scoob and is fully encouraged to do so. (even when he's driving galaxy)
  11. Dont have to watch the muppets on the road when on the school run if my eyes are shut.
  12. Its a painted roundabout in the road not a big one, your forgiven, its friday.
  13. You've lost me now col.......... the cars dirty not damaged.
  14. Well done, howmany more do you have to do?
  15. Spotted Scoobysam today going across roundabout in longfield about 3.25, gather the car needs cleaning by the writing on boot :-)
  16. Unless i am asleep i wave at everyone who has a scoob, sport, wagon whatever. Not eveyone waves back but i still do it, i even wave when i'm in galaxy, get quite a few wierd looks thou.I'll always wave at you Rach, if Matt doesn't i'll give him a slap.
  17. For that price they will be second hand parts but if you are happy with that then thats a good price for parts and labour.
  18. I think Pele deserves some gratitued for doing it for so long. One of her Legacies (Subaru pun not intended) is this very forum, which would not be here if KS had not struck a deal with the SIDC. Couldn't agree more, cant have been an easy job for anyone, family commitments or not, Thanks Pele for making KS what it is today, every meet we have attended you have been the friendly face there, our first outings to Combe you were the one that made us feel part of it, Shame it has come to this, hope you enjoy a stress free retirement from KS and hope to see you at many more meets.
  19. New radiator for scoob and tax on both cars. hopefully that will be it for this year but i doubt it knowing the scoob.
  20. My nephew is an ambulance technician, loving his job, but does get a few pointless call outs, they all do sterling work, hopefully when the real emergency call comes throu they are able to attend and not be at someones house because they are drunk. Matt sti sorry to hear your car got keyed, have they really got nothing better to do, Marty had his door mirror ripped clean off by a pedestrain last week, had to replace mirror, holder everything.
  21. The silver wagon with a black bonnet parks up in crayford, saw it today, also saw a few yesterday on the island (sheppey) a bright orange classic in bayview, a black classic at the traffic lights near rugby club around lunchtime and a black blob later in the afternoon same road, And i think it was quagmire by the pub in lower rainham.
  22. Well done you two, thats brilliant news, Good weight too, hope the little stickers are on car soon As ROAR said make the most of him while he's tiny, goes way to fast, enjoy your first xmas together.
