  1. Sounds like you been visiting nigel Marty, yhe ouy.
  2. Silly question time, whats the law regarding the smaller import rear number plates, the british ones dont fit, so therefore the lettering is smaller on import ones? just a query.
  3. Sounds like my Bro, he's got the full Richard Burns stickers inc window names, its a lovely car.
  4. As far as i am aware Power Engineering used to be the clubs choice when it came to rolling roads, (if i'm wrong then no doubt someone will put me right) I've been there once but Marty and boys have been a couple of times, I was and am impressed with the set up and dedication of the staff there, They seemed so helpful and gave advice and manual help as and when needed (as Daniel can vouch for). You also get Bacon Rolls and drinks thrown in..... If not many members are interested in supporting a run down to power engineering then me and the bro's will still arrange a day when they can do our cars and it goes without saying if Jolly and Garth want to come along to then they'd be more then welcome.
  5. As topic title, Children in need night, ok its only me, loonybin and bugeyed pig, but it does say in the write up that the event was supported by Kent Scoobies, at least the club got a mention
  6. Hi Mate, thats no problem, will finalise times and everything nearer the date.
  7. Thanks from me to, loonybin, me and Nudge are all brothers and sister, at prodrive my 2 other brothers and my Pa will be joining us in their scoobs also. Really looking forward to it.
  8. Happy Birthday, hope you have a good one.
  9. As he said, Thank you all.
  10. We booked our rooms today at the Premier Inn in Hamilton (18 miles from start point), £54 a room. All the ones doing the Scotland bit need to get rooms booked as they getting booked up quick. Anyone going up to Scotland are welcome to come with us, as nudge said we'll meet up with him and maybe the sws guys on the M6.
  11. I heard today that they are doing the run from Lanark to Banbury on the Saturday and will all be staying in and around Banbury overnight and driving to Prodrive on sunday, Means Kent, Sussex, Essex etc cannot meet the convoy on sunday to Prodrive with everyone from Scotland. Also means that unless a meeting point is being arranged near Banbury then there wont be the huge convoy going into Prodrive like the RB one. Me, Loonybin and Nudge be doing the run from Lanark but when we reach the M25 we will come home and join Kent on Sunday for the drive to Banbury, We will be bringing all six of the Scoobs (rest being ROAR, Bugeyed pig and Pa's) so it'll be cool to go together.
  12. Excellent, although Mr 118 looked a tad chilly bless him, I liked the Michael Jackson one.
  13. Exactly coz i'm a girl and i have kids. Drive like a grannie on a sunday afternoon,
  14. Thats not my car, i have a big number box and a front splitter and bigger skirts etc
  15. TRYING ...... It sounded gorgeous, the one posted was a first attempt in an auto on a slope, not perfect conditions, but needless to say the rest were cool , i have witnesses to prove it...
  16. I'd never do anything like that, far to mature i do love the snow thou.
  17. How the devil is everyone tonight?
  18. Evening Fella's.
  19. So whose going to organise this from the Kent end, we are probably gonna do the full run from Lanark but no doubt many of you will do the run from the M1/M25. Marty dont be so premature with your list, not like you to want to get in first
  20. I suggested this last year, so me and him and maybe a couple of the kids will be up for this. do enjoy making a twit of myself.
  21. I just been told its every week not every month and aparently they all leave Dartford and blat it through the Tunnel to lakeside, The guy i was talking to owns a GTI golf with a straight through exhaust system (has no boxes at all) he reckons its a good night (bless him) I dont think i'll be joining in thou.
  22. Not sure about the Bluewater one but i been informed that there was a cruise in dartford last night, apparently takes place once a month, they meet in B&Q carpark, the informant said that a couple of scoobs and skyline go along with all the corsa's and pugs etc
  23. Would've been good but got to visit father-in-law in gatwick tomorrow and make bread pudding and gypsy tarts on sunday, Sorry maybe another weekend, hopefully have better weather to.
  24. We took Marty down Swingate earlier and the Astra was not around, Marty has what the bloke said was his name and a mobile number that strangely enough does not exist. Marty was on the right hand lane of a roundabout turning right, the tart was in left hand going straight on and basically cut the corner and hit Marty's front end. He seemed more concerned about damage to his Astra. Its not as though he wouldn't have seen or heard Marty beside him. The whole thing is captured on the councils CCTV and thats still not enough for the police, Marty reported the incident to the police within hours of it happening as he tried contacting the bloke regarding damage, Police were not interested, Marty then went back when he was informed that the car was not insured and they were even less helpful.
  25. I no i can speak for all my bro's when i say that we will all be taking part, wouldn't miss it for the world.
