If you buy a car from there check it over like you normaly do but do it again before you leave there premises .I bought a my05 Jdm sti zl from them in November 2005 .I had a alarm fitted in the deal and had a tracker fitted for insurance company i am with. The person who does the alarm and tracker did not put some of the interior trim back right .Then i was getting this clicking noise and i found out it was the boost soleinod so took it back to them and the clown of a mechanic said it was a cartristic of the car not sure if that is the right spelling so took the car away and i was talking to some one while under the bonnet and nosieying around and looked at the solenoid valve it was touching the body work .This was down to the alarm installer fitting the siren to the bracket ie bending the bracket and removing one of the bolts that holds the bracket in place ie the weight of the siren .So i twisted the bracket towards the air box and tried the car the next day no clicking .So get on the phone to them and said to them you told me a load of rubbish about the noise .I ended up sorting the problems my self and sorting the solenoid bracket so all bolt holes are fixed to the body work instead of two and adusting the angle so the siren goes on and jobs a good one and cars perfect now and run's great.Sorted by a welder ie me sorry for going on about this and my gramar and another thing warranty is only 6months and its a waste of time Dicksons don't won't to know with after care service just a bunch of muppets thats my opinion .
He better of lifting the carpet on passenger foot well .Then remove the four 10mm nuts holding metal plate to see what ecu he has ie get the number then go on to the ecutek website there is a list of ecu code numbers .Then you will see what ecu you have .If that any good
I would of thought the wrx would not run very well with a sti ecu .The engine ancillaries are different to the wrx like's of turbo, injectors, cam's maybe, fueling etc Just my idea might be wrong
