Check gearbox isn't notchy - third to second - What on earth is notchy If the gear change isn't smooth and has a slight grind. Check gear-lever for sloppiness - What the hell is sloppiness The gear stick moves about a lot when its in gear. Check brake pedal travel - Travek where? That the brakes bite and stop you when you push the brake pedal a little bit and it does not hit the floor.

  7. Post in the for sale and wanted forum mate. There are a few people in there who break motors and will probably be able to help.
  8. Want to go to this but 3 o'clock might be a bit of an early meet time for me. I'll have to check out if I can have an early one on Friday and let you know later in the week.
  9. Congratulations on the little lady mate And it looks like you had a good day at Castle Coombe although you should have kept the scoob for the rally stage
  10. Most decent garages will stamp the book for you. It doesn't need to be a main dealer although I'd take it to a garage with some experience in scoobies
  11. Here you go mate Clicky
  12. Congratulations to you and the Mrs mate. 10LBS OUCH!!!!!!!!! Lewis will be out of there in no time. A couple of blinks of the eye and he'll be sitting on dads knee driving the scoob
  13. Happy Birthday Pele. Hope you have a good one with loads of beer and bad dancing Sorry, can't make it . I'm out for a ruby tonight with work. Have a few beers for me
  14. The closest campsite is the Kestral Caravan Park which is seven miles away. Seems to be virtually impossible to buy tickets online. You just get the runaround between the Rally Stages website and the Rockingham website. I'll be finding out whether this is intentional and you can only buy tickets on the day in due course but I'll definately be there.
  15. That was from Sanspeed £700 for the turbo with an exchange for mine and £400 for oil and gaskets. Is that Sanspeed in Bexleyheath? Not very good IMHO. Would never let them anywhere near my baby with tools in their hands.
  16. Only one month and £100 fine, Thats a result. Bet you're well chuffed. Only a month bus pass to buy
  17. Black P reg classic driving through Darenth at about 1a.m.
  18. Bummer that. Go out for a nice drive in the country and everyone has the same idea
  19. Ouch. What a lucky f**ker
  20. Does anyone have any way of contacting Pele, I'm gonna be going up this afternoon and she hasn't been online all week to arrange picking up the pass. Any help greatly appreciated
  21. Never mind Tony. You'll have to make sure that you get a tent by next summer. Or better still by December for going to Rockingham to see J-K in the rally car
  22. I'll be leaving on Saturday afternoon at about 3, if youstill fancy camping Pele then let me know where you want to meet up and we'll arrange a time. That goes for anyone else who fancies camping, food and a few beers If you don't fancy it Pele then can I arrange to get the pass off of you as I'll probably be there before everyone leaving on Sunday. Thanks
  23. I just got in from college which I had to goto straight after work
  24. Be a bit funny trying to go up the strip with a car full of camping gear too !!!!!!! LOL I'll be leaving the camping gear set up at the campsite and packing it away after the show Can have an empty car for the quarter mile then (Although I'm still not sure if I'm gonna run it yet). I thought we'd all be meeting up before entering Santa Pod anyway so that Kent Scoobies could all arrive in a procession. One big happy family
