Blue Dragoon

As you may be aware a number of owners have had engine failures with the 2.5 STi Hatchbacks, be it the STi or 330S. The owners are getting increasingly annoyed with the IM response and customer service given. The issue is very well documented in the US but Subaru UK seem to be burying their heads in the sand. So what as happened?

Mark, Ian's cars are very special and as such attract a specific customer. I have bought two Subaru's from Ian and been very happy with the service and especially the cars, a JDM Spec B WR Ltd Legacy and now my Forester STi with the Litchfields Performance Pack. Give him a ring and discuss and find out oif he's got any second hand cars coming in. As far as running costs, they are Subaru's and ain't cheap. My insurance is on a par with the UK market but I deal with Keith Micheals or A-Plan for very competative quotes. As far as I know no website dedicated to Litchfields cars exists. I am currently having problems getting a colour match for the scuffing on my Prodrive alloys. So far I have had some good info about VW Gemini Gray (code 272). Anyone else had a similar problem??? Prodrive and the local dealer are not to helpful. My local Chipsaway will do the job if I can get the right match. Any help is good help. Cheers

Bought my MY99 Classic last July. It's expensive to run, insure and maintain. But, the car, customer service and enjoyment outweight them all. I have had BMw's, VW and Ford. They stand no chance against the Scoob. It's still warranteed by Subaru as I bought it from a Dealer.
