  1. Andy's more than convinced the wheel failure would have due to them being powercoated. The oven process may have been the critical factor in the wheel shearing, a warning for all who have powdercoated wheels, myself included. Hopefully Andy will post up a photo of said wheel (sti 8's)as it is a tad shocking!

  2. Sorry if Team Stevenson were'nt very sociable/chatty today but oil pressure problems and power steering drawing in air , had an already frazzled team , stretched! That's two events in and were hanging in by the skin of out teeth sometimes. A lot of camaraderie between teams , as everyone knows the efforts been put in just to get near a starting grid. A great drive by John today which shouldn't be a surprise, but we were mucho happy with a 3rd place. :( .

  4. I got lucky as i had just parked up in a motorway sevice station when the top radiator hose blew, so the engine wasn't turning over.Headgaskets were fine.

As subaru hose diametre is larger than your average rad hose, i had to fit a piece of average rad hose into the burst scoob hose and tape over the ripped part and drive the remaining 300 miles home keeping a close eye on the temp guage!
