M25 FLYER

I got my renewal through from L-V (1 year no claims) but they wanted a touch under £950 so i've moved over to Norwich union who have covered me for under £700. Obviously they dont like loads of mods so its not ideal for everyone,but they "quoted me happy"ouch!!!

May be interested in getting my tail gate and 1/4 panel glass done, Been trying to do it myself but being kind about my results it looked totally crap (more wrinkles than an elephants scrotum)!!!!

You have to watch out for them DWS vans as their drivers like to cut into your lane on the A2 and then gesture at you. The passenger i had in the cab with me said "that young man should learn some manners and stop being a menace" !!!!!!! LOL. . (then again re the menace bit she had just roasted her Nissan on the motorway,Pot kettle and black spings to mind).

Ex garage owner/proprietor for 11 years,MOT testing scheme authorised examiner and a bit of a whizz with a mig welder. Then i woke up one day and decided i needed a rest,hence the orange van on the left. can sometimes be quiet knowledgable about matters mechanical (only sometimes though) .

Sorry will have to cry off today,the house has gone down with the lergies and dont want to pass it around to you guys...

Suggestion,"Anyone can drive fast in a straight line...." (just look out for the plod behind you!!) How lucky are you,does this mean chopping the scoob in for a Corsa with a misfire while the points clear or sliding the seat back so you can't push the loud pedal too hard ???????????

Any clues as to the date of this Chrimbo gathering yet,as i would like to make sure i can book the time off if needs be. (christmas + drinking trousers = hang over + 24hrs recovery).

Did you see the tasty piece of jap exotica on the trailer,i had to chip it off the hard shoulder back at the Wilmington turn off.The driver claimed it just lost power with out warning,but it had got so hot the dizzy cap had melted!! P.S if you ever see me in a queue on the A2 take a different lane cos i have a knack of allways getting in the slowest.(this also applies to Banks,post offices etc).

Its a bit quiet around here tonight,has anyone been watching "waking the dead"and if so who' the geezer going around making people bump off thier relatives etc. My money's on that Dennis Pennis bloke.... P.S how long does it take to get your SIDC membership goodies thru the post ?????

Just a quick question,has anyone been to Alton towers for a couple of days and stayed at one of the on-site Hotels as looking on thier site it seems quite reasonable if done during the week so avoiding sat/sunday Are the ride queue's really that bad and how long does it take to get to?? Is it anywhere near Billing so i can visit there on the Sunday? Cheers pips any coments are most welcome.....

R.M tyres on the medway city estate (01634 716336) are worth a ring,they have allways beat the big tyre depots on price. Tell them your size and they can quote you on most makes, quoted me £79.00 fitted for 215/40x17 toyo's recently which was cheapest quote i could get anywhere. If you ring them say mark from RAC gave you thier number and ask for phil or barry.

As its gone a bit quiet on this thread i thought i could wander in and ask the following, 1,anyone know of a dent man around the medway/gravesend area who can remove a little dink in the middle of my drivers door (fitted free when parked at Tesco!),plus poss cost. 2, where can i get my wheels repainted,dont like silver,not allowed gold so going graphitte. 3, is it worth fitting a decent panel filter and a centre decat pipe as a first step in getting a bit more power (got used to car now and dont scare myself anymore!). 4, if girls are made from "sugar an spice" why do they taste of anchovies ???
