I'm running 17's with toyo t1s at the moment but i dont fancy them in the snow much so i invested in a set of scabby old 16s (£80 from glenburgie) , I'm also wondering what would be a good winter tyre . martyn

Hello all, I just got back from glenburgie cars this evening after getting a new full h&s de cat system fitted with a big fat 5" back box, also got a new MAF so now my car's running sweet as a nut although i might need earplugs now! Cheers Liam, great service and price! Highly reccomended. Martyn

Hello Everyone, Has anybody had any dealings with Indy car sales ? I am considering using them to sort out some minor (i think) engine probs , but i have heard that they aren't great to deal with or not very honest. I've heard nothing specific though so I'm inclined to think that could be just rumours and they are at a very handy location for me. Any info would be greatfully received. Cheers, Martyn

FAO teknopete, I just read your post too, give PSL a shout if your interested , They always take your previous experience into consideration and your starting sallary and position will reflect that. They are a great company to work for , one of the few smaller private oil service companies left. Martyn

Hi Tiss, If you're interested , the company I work for is screaming for people, (PSL energy services) The majority of the work we do is pumping various fluids and chemicals down wells with big pumps on different rigs / boats , if you've got a bit of mechanical knowledge then you've got a good chance of getting a job as we work with diesel engined pumps , all training is on the job and the pays not bad too, good promotion prospects too! Have a look at PSL Energy services web site , you can send them a cv via email if you want. good luck mate martyn

hi everyone, I have a rb5 with a standard exhaust on it and i am considering getting a custom made powerflow exhaust from the downpipe back, removing one cat, has anyone done similar? should i just get a straight pipe right to the back box and will i notice any bhp improvements? cheers in advance for any info. martyn

Hi All, A big thanks to the organisers for a great day! My first scooby meet. Unfortunately we never arrived till mid afternoon so we missed alot but it was still worth coming to see some good driving. my missus was doing the race for life thing at aberdeen in the morning and after that it was a mad dash to alford ! Hi JamesF, I joined sidc just before i started using the forum, i'm also a member of the RB5 oc. i've caught the modding bug too , just recently de tangoed with crystal front indicators and sidelights and sti rear clusters, i'm going to do a bit of work on the brakes next then start some engine mods after that, should keep me occupied for a while !! cheers, Martyn
