<< mmmmm I love my prodrive knob Would love to have the one with a blue centre rather than the all silver/chrome one I have.....oh one word of warning.......these are COLD in the winter Spooks >> that's ok I've got the Whalen Grear Knob on my Minis. Doug Whalen is going to machine a couple of gear Knobs for me once he receives my original Subaru knob for dimensions etc. Actually I.ll post pic when they come over from the states but until then Prodrive will do nicely.

where can I buy a aftermarket gear knob something like prodrive NOT momo or sparco.
-
sorry but another question. Getting the Prodrive stuff fitted by the dealer on Monday. However what gains will I get by fitting another induction kit and which is the best one to get. Will this be frowned upon re my warranity. (not to bothered) Also who is best to go to get this done do the likes of AWD @ Perth do this stuff. See the thing is I like all this stuff but never having had a scooby before not sure about what product to get and who to get it from.
-
thing is I like the Defi Gauges but don't want to loose my clock and I have my micro road pilot hard wird and fixed in in that aera. so I think it will have to be the blitz r vit. Thanks for your advice really helpful. Fiona.

<< Sorry to disappoint you all but I believe I have snapped them up. It's an 05 WRX I have anyway, so they should fit quite nicely. A set for winter and a set for summer. Or a set for track day DESTRUCTION. >> Stephen, these are all yours. Thanks Fiona.

I stick the window badge on the back of my mini. "Do you think it is possible to apply advanced driving principles fully in an Impreza? Dubious one that - I think in general yes but Imprezas and total adherence to the System of Advanced Driving don't always sit too well together" not to sure what you mean really. in my day to day driving I lean more towards defensive driving looking far ahead and all that looking for the gaps if any trouble should come my way. I think in my mini I tend to be a bit more aggressive and use the advice on how to take the corner looking at where the verge meets then opens up and how to overtake.

well done I passed quite a few years ago now
-
how do I go about buying the Scooby Mag tried phoning to subscribe but keep getting a answer machine
-
to be honest I only really use it when once I've got in the car to lean on while I get myself comfy. Daft I know but really miss it for that will get it fitted this weekend. Noticed your IAM link are you a member or do you work for them? I'm a member also through work I have to take a defensive driving course every three years.
-
will do
-
not stupid. things is I'm used to having a armrest in my other car and it was the first thing I missed so had to get one. That's the only reason really.
-
here is a link to my pictures of the armrest. if anybody is interested in getting one let me know Armrest
-
thanks for that. I can stop worrying now.

picked up a new Impreze wrx wagon 1st march. Noticed after a couple of days that I started to get a smell from the clutch only after reversing or going up the ramps to the garage it's like I had been sitting sliping the clutch for 5 mins but I'm not sliping. Is this because the car is new or I'm be to gentle or is somthing not quite right. Never had this problem with any of my other cars don't think it's my driving style

This was Allans car that is until we went to pick it up on the 1st March and I decided it was just to good so it's now my car. This is our first Subaru or anything like it we've owned and got to say just how much I like it. Do I like it as much as my minis well time will tell Booked into drivers this Thursday for some ICE and a few led lights behind the air vents. footwells some nice ambient lighting etc Then it's off to transcal for some black nappa leather with yummy blue stitching. You can just tell it's now a womans car. Ta Fiona. will post pics on her return.
