  1. Hi, Graham & Deb's here from Wiltshire, We used to belong to the Kent groups many years ago and enjoyed lots of days away with our Bug Eye STI, been members on here for over 10 years I believe, but with one thing or the other we've not done anything with the Subaru for many years, still got the same car since 2003 and she has only got 27000 miles on the clock, hope to get her out in 2015 to dust the cobwebs off, took a look under the cover today just to check she was still there, looking as good as ever just needs a good wash and service, anyway that's us, hope to meet some of you in 2015, Graham & Deb's
  2. its a lot af car for the money though and there will come a time when they go up in value too, i'm into my old skool mk2 escorts too and the market for good clean useable cars is about £8-£10k at the moment (crazy), they were £3k new, some go for upto £20k so when the insurance asks whats the value what should i say £8-£10k ???
  3. looks like i'll be a scooby owner for many more years to come , it does make you smile when you give it some though, you have to ask yourself though is it really worth keeping your cars milage low and doing dealer services just to keep the history up to date when the government go and backdate the new tax duty, they are toss!!!!
  4. just looked at the book prices, i was gobsmacked, not been around for a while, we have a prodrive sti7, full dealer history, ppp, 18" wheels 26k on the clock tracker, reg number S--OBY, owned for 5 years, only did 689 miles last year, is it really only worth £8500, whats happened to the value's over the past few years??
  5. what would have happened if you had bumped one of their vehicles on their forecourt, they would bum you, they have bumped your car mate nothing to do with you, if i were in charge there you'd be getting this service for free just for the sheer embarisment

  14. << has she started shouting at you yet LOL yes but thats nothing new, i think it maybe a little louder with an aggressive tone, "come on debs put the knife down" keep it up debs >>
  15. << Smokey & the Bandit my favourite film just need the black Trans-Am >> you may have to buy one so you can get cheap classic car insurance
  16. i will say though i'm no expert , you may be executed for this one
  17. i'd say it was looking good for you at the moment, i will ring my mate on sun for some advice he is a solicitor working for the crown prosecution service, and my brother in law is a copper, i'll get back to you with any info on a personal message, you've got a few days to show the producer anyway don't rush down to the cop shop, get as much advice as you can first, as they say in big brother "i will get back to you" , give me the details on the ticket about the offence so i can give my mate all the info, good luck taffr
  18. its up to them to prove you were doing the speed, you must say i don't know what speed i was doing ,too many of these cases are proved with the offender dropping himself in the poo by saying the wrong thing like "yes thats right officer i was doing ---" then he's got you admitting to it and the police get an easy result ,to me it sounds like a producer and a little ticking off at the roadside to shake you up a little, did you say there was no speeding ticket ?
  19. don't admit to anything, does he need video evidence to prosecute you? if his car is not set up for speeding then i don't think he can prove it without doubt, he may be able to do you for a lesser offence, what does the producer say, did he give you a speeding ticket ?
  20. thanks for all your support it means a lot, i need all the help i can get at the moment ,debs
  21. what speeding kit did he have in the car, are you deffo in the s--t?
  22. sorry to hear that mate i saw him in my mirror before the roundabout and i actually stopped on the roundabout like an old granny does to try and send him off the scent also sort of blocking him up the slip road but he was just too fast for me and he came past like sh-t off a stick, good luck mate
