Sounds like the same as i had on my old car, drivers side rocker cover gasket was the offending pong!

This isnt very good news at all. Hope it gets sorted out. But, looking at it from the other guys point of view, i know i wouldnt be happy if a car i had just bought wasnt all that it first seemed. Im not implying that i think that of this car, im just pointing out that it can happen and obviously any of us would be wanting our money back aswell. The guy shouldnt have made threats and should be trying to prove that the car has accident history as he seems to think it does. Private sale tho, sold as seen. Anyway as i said before i hope it all gets sorted

I'd stick them up for sale for £400 and let whoever buys them refurbish them. Cuts your cost down and most people will want certain colour to go with there car anyway

I think it is a decent price. Plenty of history with it aswell. Reciepts for 4k. Maybe asking the guy to drop a grand off the asking price was a bit cheeky, but no doubt the price will be negotiable anyway.

Looks perfect the way it is. Maybe your just bored with the look of it and fancy a change, any other wheels you like?
