  1. So we'll narrow the dates down to the 13th and 20th November then. face-icon-small-smile.gif Would be nice to get 20-25 notes of interest to ensure a decent turn out on the day.

    1. Carl Davey, Cav Turbo

    2. Jamie, Scooby ...depending on shifts

    3. Iain, WRX Bug

    4. Wuz

    5. Scientific steve

    6. Ac!D

    7. RS Grant

    8. TrickyB

    9. Miss Scooby, STI Type R

    10. Power Junkie STI Type R

    11. Sarah/John, WRX pending MOT pass

  2. Ok, have ran these dates past Gav and they all work for space on the rollers and my own offshore rota.

    Sunday October 23rd

    Sunday November 13th

    Sunday November 20th

Surprising lack of interest so far?

  3. Either give Russ Hulme a shout when he gets back from India or pop round mine and we'll take care of it together. Really not worth paying garages to do that kind of thing.

If it has to be a garage Turriff Tyres won't take the piss and are on 01888 562929. Wee bit of a drive along the A947 but that's no bad thing.

  4. Ok, i bounced this around at the meet this evening as it's been around a year since the last local one. Would plan to have it at Wallace Performance in Aberdeen although they don't know this yet and it's subject to interest/people being home from offshore etc...

So can we post interest below stating your car and whether or not your attendance is offshore dependant. If you have or can calculate your rota that'd help things too.

    1. Carl Davey, Cav Turbo

  6. Yeah, best to do it a couple of miles or so before built up areas i find. Slowing down to the 30/40/50 limit gives them a good chance to catch up and prove the following:

A: they are breaking speed limits in built up areas, paying no regard to pedestrians/residents

B: they obviously care a lot about the safety of their family in the car with them

    C: they have a chipolata

I love it, maintain the speed limit right until the NSL signs and off we go. Even better in a 12 year old Cavalier. face-icon-small-happy.gif

  7. Growing tired of Coldplay purely because of all the exposure they are getting right now. You cannot flick between 440-471 on Sky without catching them at least three times. Don't find them nor Radiohead depressing. Will Young, Gareth GGGGates, Backstreet Boys and all the other manufactured pop tat is depressing.

Cal, it falters a bit IMO. I've loved them since i was 13 but it just isn't all there. Turn Up The Sun is one of my favourite tracks since the first album though. face-icon-small-cool.gif

  8. I always used Liam @ Glenburgie and found it well worth the drive from Turriff. Allegedly Indy Car Sales have quite a knowledgable Subaru mechanic on board, again it's the issue of dealing with their (lack of) admin department. I had one experience with Brian and will never go back. Plenty of others have found the sun to shine from his rear though so you may have better luck than i.

  9. Even with the GF and Mother on the phones/internet this morning (i'm offshore...) they didn't manage to get a ticket between them. face-icon-small-sad.gif Anyone got some spares for this old Rock & Roll Star?

Warning, sob story coming up... face-icon-small-tongue.gif

I couldn't go and see them this summer in Milton Keynes, Manchester or Hampden as i didn't know exactly when i was due to start on my new platform. Hence, i didn't know my rota and when my field breaks were. Emma mentioned the other day they were playing in Aberdeen on the 12th December (day before my 24th) and i prematurely got all excited... because it's the first date of the three i'd really rather see them there than in Glasgow.

Anyone got some spares or know someone who has? Feeling pretty sick seeing the touts flogging them for an absolute fortune on eBay (over £100 each, £32.50 face value).
