[] i had 5 years in with transocean roustying/roughnecking before i started with halliburton so i wasnt exactly new to it all, BUT rumour has it were still looking to recruit new guys so chuck a CV into halliburton you never know your luck,im on the scott platform just now and know KCA are still recruiting so throw a CV into them,also try weatherford i hear they recently took some guys on and paid every cert for them to get offshore!!! if that fails i would say try the agencies macgregors, atlantic resourcing, rigman, omega etc etc. youll need a RGIT, medical, banksman slinger cert, or some kind of greenhand certificate, all of this costs a SH!T load of cash though so last resort if you know what i mean, and dont give up keep pestering companies agencies phoning them every day etc, giving the current climate it will happen but might not be overnight, best advice is bug them to death
