Gutted for you Callum, I heard tonight from a 'reliable source' that it was indeed your car but decided not to mention it till you came along your self.
People could easily take it easy through out the space of the day only to unleash it on the last run to take a win and then say they got lucky or had a perfect run, easily done IMO
Policing this would be a nightmare if your going by BHP, whats to say little Jonny claims he has 280 but actually has 350? All you are going on is peoples word and more often than not people will tell lies and enter in the easiest class for the sake of winning
They seem to be all over the place (travellers minks that is )Theres has been a few complaints about them on Aberdeen Scoobies as well, not just in Aberdeen but outside of it as well, why these people get away with what they do is beyond me
A guy on TrackScotland did a pretty good write up on it, been dying to do it myself one day.

She's in bits , soon to be better than ever though with a fully forged stroker kit fitted, been off the road for 15-16 months now so going to need a bit of fair bit of TLC with a wire brush and a dremmel

"Note The V 5/6 STI/P1 Gearbox is stronger than the UK or previous versions however Level 4 + Power may shorten the life of the transmission this will depend on type of use and driving style."
Level 4 is 400 to 420 BHP
As your not planning on ragging the car to within an ince of its life you should be ok with the STi 6 box, but then again it depends on the box's previous use
