  3. Cheers guys Yeah, 36 now so the years are just flying by so hoped it would sneak by without anyone noticing!
  4. Many happy returns Dave. Hope you had a good one!
  5. That will be James Osbornes then. Warby, if it used to have a JMN plate then it is his. If you need more info please let me know. Nick
  6. doooooooooood. Hows it going buddy? Hows the family? Email me, I lost your email address somehow. Mine is in profile. Nick
  7. It was two coil packs fooked. One completely dead and the other arcing out onto the head. Cheap antilag though running on two :icon_rendeer: Still not finished yet though so trouble free motoring still isnt on the cards just yet
  8. I lost heart with my rebuild and almost gave up trying to get her back on the road. Ian from PACE told me to drop it down so he could have a look. A few hours later got a call and took the car out for a test drive. Big smiles again. Thanks guys
  9. I need to diagnose rough running on my scoob. Its not just on boost it seems to be all through the rev range (only revved to 3.5K due to running in). I found a coil pack that wasn't sparking so managed to get a replacement. It ran a little better but has started misfiring again so I want to change them all to see what it could be next (Lambda, boost solenoid, MAF etc). I feel hard of spending £200 notes as it may not even be the coil packs but they are chief suspect no1 at the moment. Ta Nick
  10. I have a fairly quiet Hayward and Scott which you can pull off my STi V2 for a bit to get it through its test if Johns wont fit. Edited to add as long as you put it back on again lol
  11. That looks like fun dude
  12. Talking of clutches have mine in now complete with brand new release bearing and Astimans old pressure plate from his STi. I did get a bit worried as I had managed to break two release bearings previously but the engine flew in this time. Must have had a bit of air in the slave cylinder as the clutch didn't want to pump up but it did after a bit of persuasion Engines in duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuudde. Nearly there now
  13. Cool, got it but doesn't ring any bells. Fairly new over here with that Reg?
  14. Meh, damn big fingers lol
  15. If I can help let me know. CupraDave seems to be the best bet at the mo if it is the Guthries one. If you have the old IOM logbook PM me with the previous owner and I will make some enquiries for you.
