  1. Did anyone else clock the Stig at the photocopier?

Twas when they were doing the 17 year old trying to insure the car bit,

he was in the backround with his helmet (oh err miss ;) ) stuck in the copier and copying his lid

  2. I take it you took this picture when the wife was driving - going by the essential travel aid proped up beside the tax disc!!!!

He he he he, good een lad :rotfl:

Nah, that was just to mop up the few water drops that came through the top roof vent :D

And when the wife was let loose it was a few months ago, but I think the loo paper would of been used at the time ;)

  3. Looks like one hell of a trip there min, did you really get hitched, congratulations if you did :P

And guess what, someone is spying on you in the bed (last pic)

    Rich

    Aye min B)

Well it's not 100% in the eyes of the law like but it is to us :(

Bought a couple of rings in Skye to finish it off

I didnt notice that lass squinting through :D

    Imy

    Big thank you

I never have been a conventional chap, me mates will confirm that B):D:D:D

And I'm sorry to say that the camper aint for hire :P

Just too many quirks with such an old vehicle,

I almost had kittens when I let me other half drive it down a straight bit of road so god knows what I would be like if I hired it out to someone :D

There are a couple of places that do hire them out though :P

  4. Stolen from another forum but a good point none the less

"It was Michaels FXX, so thats why he was there, its the same as various people have wore the stig costume for test drivers only being trusted to drive certain cars. While we're on the subject, the FXX is a race car and shouldnt be on the list"

And the build up for the next lot of laps wont be as much fun if they did reveal who it was now would it?

  5. Howdie folks

Just back yesterday afternoon from our hols

    Rockness was FOOOKIN ACE

Best way by far to do a fest is by camper

Our friends also had the VIP bands but still had to make THREE trips back to their car, not us

Drove up, opened up, took the two camping seats out, beer cooler out and started to enjoy.

    SL703526.jpg

Splitty was ace and never missed a beat.

Well apart from when we left Skye and the heavens opened up and the left window wiper decided to come loose, had to stop and tighten it up with a shifter at the side of the road B)

And apart from the front wheels hitting the arches going over bumps at speed :D

Need the front shocks changed I think

    Oh, almost forgot

Not sure if it was the fresh air or the booze

but me and the other half got married in the Inflatable Church :D

    http://www.bigloveinflatablechurch.com/

We were both wearing white dresses :P:P

This is the only pick I have so far and it's a pity I had already taken the dress off :(

    SL703422.jpg

Not everyone can say that they were hitched in an inflatable church overlooking the banks of Loch Ness, with about 35000 guests and The Prodigy playing at the reception

Way too many picks to post up so thems just a few, enjoy :P

  6. I’m sorry, but them folk that say “you do get used of the heights” all I can say is that’s utter tosh!

I’m now 39 and still have the unhealthy or healthy fear of heights.

I’ve tried and tried to get the irrational thought out of my head, it’s just not working.

A couple of times I’ve bottled out of climbing up the Schlumberger coil tubing tower and in real terms, they aint that high, 60-70ft off the deck. It’s just cause it was dark, and right on the side of the platform with an additional 200-300ft to think about.

Something like this but not the one's I've been on

    CoiledTubingInstallation.jpg

The mind if a funny lump of goo

  7. Just seen this on google maps :D

Aww, bu&&er. Just looked at the link and it aint saved it ;)

If you go onto King Street heading towards Castle Gate direction, beside the grave yard before the ESSO filling station, you'll see a RB320

If I knew how to save it and post up the link I would of done that instead :D

    http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&ie...=12,173.66,,0,5

Ah ha, have now figured it out :D

Top right, where it says "Link"

Sort of gives it away

  8. If it’s Schoolhill in the town centre then parking is going to be your biggest problem.

I stay 30 miles south of Aberdeen in Inverbervie and work beside the AECC, it only takes me about 45 minutes to get to and from work. It all depends where you stay and work, if I worked in Dyce then I could probably add another hour to the journey time, but going through to town seems easy enough, although I do leave at 07:00 and leave work at 16:30 traffic at these times aren’t at their peak yet.

It’s a tricky one to advise, going by what you ask, as it looks like you will be taking your car into town and parking up during the day. You can get it damaged anywhere in town quite as easily, if not more so, as when it’s parked outside your house. Parking in the centre will be a problem too unless your quite happy to fork out a good bit of cash.

I have a flat that’s rented out and when I stayed there I had no issues what so ever, it’s just off King Street on Roslin Street. Quiet enough but just make sure that you get home early as the parking can get a bit competitive at night and you may have to walk a wee bit back from your mota.

  9. Heres my wee road thumper

TBH the first time I seen it was this week, I'm still having a shufty through all of the picks

Theres just some truly wonderfull cars or creations in there :laughing4:
