yep agree, had mine done some time back engine gets unbolted and not removed if i remember it is tilted to get clutch out not removed .had mine done at a garage near fordon very good resonable rates
looks like a fair agrument in rates here, what fuel are these gb270,s running usual super unleaded or v power or normal unleaded(always been a tricky question with mucho arguments) with additives millers or i am i thinking of me old import here.
again thanks for bearing with me as i will hopefully decide tomorrow.
i got quoted £50 at t&c for first 1000 (dont even have the car if i do get it) doesn,t look good having different dealer quotes,as you say £152 for changing the oil is steep
at this rate i,ll be keepin the freelander
thanks ,was told 1000 service £50?? first service £125 unlikely me thinks even with sidc discount but would be a bonus if correct anyone elses thought,s experiance gratefully taken on board must make decison soon
thanks
thinking of comming back to scoobyland, seen gb270 at t&c aberdeen and hope to be tradin in the freelander.
whats it like day to day heard the stereo or lack of is pants even satnav upgrade not upto much.
i had a my 95 wrx before.
test run was ok in gb270.
servicing costs?
as freelander first serv £345
not too bothered about petrol costs as i ,m not gaininin a lot runnin fae stoney to portlethen and aboot the contryside in the landy.
much app for any swaying from the dark/greenforest side to proper driving again.
thanks
your humblest ex scoobyowner
got some injectors off of flat four some time ago they are pink made by python was told they would fit amy95 classic now told only year 2000 models would use i want to sell em so looking for help to what they actually are i thought they were 550cc
ta
i have the godspeed brembo kit fitted
first you are going to need bigger wheels 17"" at least 16" will not fit (dont even think of fitting 17 on front 16 on rear as someone suggested on some other forum)
took on mine 4-5 hours to fit (thanks to checkpoint as they fitted em)
some grinding is involved pedal reach is ok on mine brakes are far far better than 2 pots one of the best upgrades you can get
try Stuart Cooper at fordoun
laurencekirk 01561320323
highly recommended as he can colour match very well with the gear they have down there i had mine done and you cant see any mismatch,s
big big thanks to callum and the bhoys at checkpoint in arbroath for fitting me suspension an bits
car handles like poo on a shovel, just to work out best setting on the efdc
cheers again bhoys most recommended(enjoy yer beers)
