  1. Cheers guys, we are keeping my car and selling Joanne's so at least we'll have one scoob in the family face-icon-small-smile.gif

Chris, I'm sure we could work something out. What about if we strip the bits off your car for free and that will cover the cost of the parts face-icon-small-wink.gifface-icon-small-tongue.gif

Thanks again for all your support guys

  2. What a load of bollocks, that is the usual photoshop crap that Auto Express come out with every month. I don't know why anyone buys this magazine, half the stuff the print is completely made up. That picture is a 3 Series BMW that has been photochopped.

  3. Dave I would seriously consider getting a remap very soon, Induction kits on New Age STis are bad news without one.

You got a really nice car and it would be a shame for the engine to go bang, just because the CEL light isn't on doesn't mean the car is running well.

I would suggest a visit to Gavin at Wallace Performance or a trip down to see AndyF, they'll sort you out and at least you will know the car is running correct.

  7. Chris do not worry about charge temps on you 03 STi, I have modified mine to about 370ish and I have no problems at all. I have a charge temp indicator and on full throttle it doesn't go above 30c.

If you check Scooby Magazine my car was the feature called Jock Power face-icon-small-happy.gif

If you are going for over 400ish then maybe think about a front mount but don't bother with the rest.

  8. << Marc,

Car's looking really smart - just not as fast as crystal grey...............face-icon-small-happy.gif

I was wondering what splitter you have on your motor and also if you had any problems removing the orange reflector from your headlights. Do they fog up afterwards? I am looking forward to seeing all your pictures and the car in the flesh at some point. So what have you done to the car so far?????

    Dave >>

Dave, splitter is from Scott Lowe, no problems with the lights at all. As far as what I've done - Lots so I'll not bore you on here, better to hook up and have a chat sometime.

PM me your where abouts and I'll sort out a fly by face-icon-small-happy.gif

  9. Dave don't think I've seen you about Aberdeen yet but when I do I'll give you a flash. I had a look to see if I had any good pics of the car at work but they are all at home so I'll bring them in tomorrow and post up. In the mean time here is on of my motor from Scooby Magazine with the detango and front splitter
