hopefully everything sorted by end of next week mark, but now have to wait for these bumpstops to come home, and waiting for my spoiler to be sprayed again[8o|] So fingers crossed lol!

now getting conflicting advice! Just been sent this by a kind chap and it definately says new bumpstops provided on the Instructions! Nothing to do with a competent mechanic fitting them, more interested in specific things for this kit, eg geometry settings and the sticker to say if the shock is changed the "prodrive" bumpstop has to be used as well.

Just had these sent up to me (as i live in the sticks!) but i was expecting a few more bits! All thats in the box is the springs but i was expecting a fitting sheet with suspension settings and pretty sure i should have got bump stops as well? Anyone know for definate or have a copy they can email me? Also are the prodrive geometry settings the best? Just i'm pretty sure i've seen mentioned on here group "n" settings, whats the benefits? Don't think were on about the same wing? this one is the prodrive wrc style one Seen the subaru carbon look splitter too and it seemed to suit the car really well but a bit dearer at £250.

think i'll go fpr the wr sport/ ppp back box again. At least then if its still quiet i can go for a stainless centre section as well. Thanks for the tips

After being scoobless for the last 2 years i'm now back behind the wheel of one. Just picked up yesterday a obsidian black 2.5 wrx. Taking a wee bit of getting used to but sure it will all come flooding back! Few things i noticed and looking for pointers; 1. How to get a burble back? Had ppp on a my99 and wr back box on my sti my03 what do i need to do to get a decent sound from this one? Nothing to loud or intrusive just something to smile about and drown out the tyre roar[:$] is a simple backbox swap enough? 2. Anybody changed the gear knob? What you got now? This one feels ok but looks really naff to say the least. 3. Which dealers will give me the best price on a wrc style rear wing? (list £585) Seen one yesterday and think its different enough from the sti ones to warrant the cash. Might also be interested in the front splitter too and the aluminium gear knob from subaru as well so might be a worthwhile bit of business for someone! Thnaks for any replies, sc.

I'm looking to get back into a scooby after a few years out and noticed theres a reasonably priced 05 sti, black in pitstop in aberdeen. Does anyone know anything about it or even better been to see it? Just i'm in Thurso (john o'groats) so bit of a long way to go for a quick look! Any help greatly appreciated

Hi jools sorry i took so long to put something down but i've been busy (honest !) I'd be delighted if we could get enough interest for an inverness meet and the idea above about calling cards would be an ideal way of trying to recruit new members as well (capri club did it for years to great success i believe). Might even try an get to an aberdeen meet if i had enough notice. Not been much response to this but hopefully if it goes back up again now we'll get a few more opinions.
