Mikey, Do you still have the standard dumpvalve ? I put a brand new OEM recirc one on, just before i sold it to Grant. Might be worth swapping back, just to confirm if it is the dv thats on it's way out. Failing that... I'll buy the car back of you !

Yep, Apexi would be my choice. I opted for Gems on mine (MY98 not a V4)...but thats silly ££££ aswell.

Has to be a replacement ECU i'm afraid. Ecutek can only be done on 99 onwards. 98's have a 3 plug ecu.

I used HKS equal lenth on my classic, along with a custom H&S uppipe. Excellent gains, and didn't miss the burble at all...not once it's screaming at higher revs. Go for it !

Unfortunately no longer a Scooby owner. Bought a MY98 Wagon in May 2003, done some serious mods, and tried several different turbos/exhausts/injectors/intercoolers... only to be extremely dissapointed with the results i got. The car was then stripped back to standard, and swapped for the Civic Vti. Should've had a new scoob 3 weeks ago..but was let down. Just hoping i can get another one soon, and get back in the fold.

I know of a nice Civic you can have for under 5k Grant. Previous owner looked after it well i beleive.
