Speak to AWD - they are available on an exchange basis I am sure - less than £100 with your old caliper gets you a new one! Refurb would be madness at that price, other than the cheap refurb of the seals.

i priced them a while back, sure they said £85 each, and they used brake engineering, although i'm sure if thats not right some of the awd guys can set us straight.

I've just had my 4 pots refurbed,i put them in to my local motor factors, (D&A in forfar), who sent them off to Brake Engineering, cost me £165.

Don't know the car but thats a '99 front end on it.
Kev which was available on a 98 R plate mate. My first Impreza Turbo (all those years ago[:$]) was a MY98 Rplate with the facelift front.[Y]
Cheers
Gus
I stand corrected,
my 98 S has the bumper with the 3 slots at the indicators,

I finally got my suspension fitted and was going to book it into Fiskens to get the geometry set up
My car is a UK98 and i've now fitted struts from an sti6 type r v-limited.
I was going to get the prodrive settings put in.
The subaru dealer is saying I need the settings from the sti6 to get my geometry done and they can't/won't put the uk settings on the car as it no longer has a uk suspension and they can't/won't put prodrive settings on as each prodrive kit you buy comes with the settings in the box(apparently they're all different[8-)]).
This sounds to me like a load of bullsh*t, however he did say that if i get the settings they can do it and it will be spot on, i would f*cking well hope so as they want to charge between £150 and £200.
Considering the struts are a straight swap i cannot see what the differences would be apart from having lowered the car.
Is it just the front wheels that can be adjusted during a set up?
Any ideas or am i wrong and does anyone have the settings for these struts?
thanks

It would be worth getting the geometry checked somewhere else, as i didn't get many positive comments made about target when i asked for somewhere local to get a setup done.
jc used fiskens and said he had no probs, still not got my suspension fitted yet.

Last items bought - Genuine Prodrive WRC Carbon spoiler and carbon side skirts.
Future purchase - A wife to control the purse strings [

a wife doesn't stop the money being spent, it just doesn't get spent on the things you want[
]
Last purchase- sti 6 struts
next purchase- recon my 4 pots and get a geometry set up once suspension is on
-
thank you, it makes to me sense now, i've bought a set off a v-limited, 20mm lower than an sti apparently[

As long as they ain't rough as feck and V5 or 6. You could look at KYB shocks if your interested in STi suspension, as they aren't far off the stiffness TBH and they are adjustable dampening too.
Am i reading this right, are you saying not to buy v5 or v6 suspension, if so , why? or is it just my specs need cleaning[:$]

Got myself a set of v6 sti type r v-limited struts, so i'll need to get the geometery set up.
Anybody know of places in Dundee that can do this? i assume awd and the local dealers (fiskens and eden) can do it? also what price am i lookng at for it?
will get my 4 pots recon'd at the same time, any places that can do this as the local factors ain't much help?
thanks
