No mate, didn't get the mail. Strange. Send it again. How is everyone today?
-
Nick, I've got no e-mails mate? You got the right address? I can get up to Douglas tonight if you want a hand. I'd take the thermo off and test it anyway to check it is working at the right temp just for peace of mind. Radiator definately not clogged up anywhere?
-
Yep, definately sounds like an airlock in the system to me then. I'll give you a hand anytime you want to flush the system. Let me know.
-
I've had plenty of cars which have overheated in my time so I'll give you a hand flushing the radiator out if you want to. Have you got a leak somewhere? Are you loosing coolant?

Not so sweet.....maybe a little sour.... Nice forum site by the way, mate. The little chavs set the car on fire to get rid of fingerprints but if I find out who did it, the police will need to ID them with dental records!! Grrrrr. Got a real loathing for car thieves and vandals now. The WRX was targeted by some cowardly oik who keyed it overnight in Onchan. People love to mess with your car when you're not around. Makes my blood boil. Much news from the SIDC here lately?

What's mine say?? Evening gents! Yep, as Cret says both Frankie and Boxer23 have been back on the Rock for a few days visiting family and catching up with friends. I've just taken Frankie to the airport as she's heading back to the house in Stockport and I'll be going back in a few weeks time (cos we need lots of cash together very soon to get a new house - long story). I love living in Stockport but unfortunately too many scallies took a shine to my WRX and it was stolen less than a fortnight ago. Police found it less than 24 hours later after it had been abandoned and burnt out. Major So a lot has been happening in the last few months but both Frankie and I are doing really well and loving every minute in Stockport. Since I'm going to be hanging around the Rock for a few more weeks if anyone wants to meet up for a drink or night out, give us a bell.

Who do I send the invoice to, Nick? It will go in Thursday's Manx Independent by the sounds of it. Well done on the campaign overall Nick and thumbs up to everyone who signed it.

DUDE!! What's mine say?

Hi guys, Yeah the scooby is going pretty well but she needed a new battery last week and she's still after an oil change. Jimmy Mc, I'm training at the same gym as the Big Brother runner-up Jason. Frankie trains there too. Who else is getting new jobs? I've been in one job for the last couple of weeks now and Frankie should have a new job by the end of today. Dave...Stockport is pretty much at the centre of the universe!! Ha ha ha How's you, mate? BUNG OUT?!

Morning guys! Long time no speak to many of you. Apologies for not keeping in touch sooner. Boxer23 and Mrs Boxer23 are both working our backsides off over here in the mainland. I'm earning good money now as a sales executive and Frankie is working part-time while running her own Internet web design company (Double Z Solutions). It has been mad busy over here so sorry we've not been in touch. I'm back in the gym now after a few months break (but it means getting in the gym at 7am every morning) and protein shakes are back on the menu at long last!! Lol. We're both doing really well at the moment after a couple of tough months were work dried up and the bills were coming in. Hope everyone is doing great on Scooby Island. What have we been missing? Boxer23 and the gorgeous Frankie.

Did someone say my name.....
-
Who is the guy in Laxey Nick has used before for Impreza work?
-
Back on topic but let's make sure we all keep the SIDC name in good form. Let's not forget the police had to get involved in one of our club meet runs on the way back from Ramsey due to complaints about an Impreza driver. Everyone do the Manx SIDC proud.
-
Silver WRX Impreza gave the Manx SIDC lot a bad name in Peel Road, Douglas, on Monday afternoon. The driver was in the left land lane to turn left towards the power station and then booted it to cut right in front of a queue of traffic heading in the Peel-bound lane, causing the motorists at the front to jump on their brakes to avoid a collision. Quite a dangerous move as there were roadworks cutting into the junction on Peel Road and a long line of traffic in the correct line. Driving a performance car is one thing but driving one safely and sensibly is another. Ninety-nine per cent of the Impreza drivers I know in the Island are very careful, considerate, drivers and build up a good reputation for the club. One or two can let the side down. Be sensible before we all get tarred with the 'boy racer' brush.
