  6. ok guys, made a few phones calls, no my options r are, pay the 800 so it doesnt affect my no claims, or pay my excess of 350 n take higher premiums for the next few years. been on the phone to my brokers to see how much my premiums will be affected, they say worst case senario, an extra 100 a year. so, from that, i think im just gonna pay the excess, loss ma no claims, n pay an extra 100 a year for ma insurance, thats better than having to fork out 800 all in one go. but ive still not accepted liabilty. told them im disputing it, il wait til i see the breakdown of the repairs that were done. fuzzy

  17. back to this comment aswell, say i had nothing to do with the accident, but then she picks out my reg number, gives it to her insurance, they get all me details from that, fix her car then bill me for repairs, for an accident i have never had. if it was as easy as giving ur insurance company a reg number, to get ur car fixed, then do u not think every1 would be doin it. next thing u know, ur getting billed for repairs to a car that u know nothing about, n there nothing u can do, just pay the bill. nah, im goin to see ma solicitor 2moro, n im gonna fight this 1. fuzzy I only said that as i know all the companies are linked to the dvla i think now, which is why they ask your registration and then they know what type of car you have. I agree with what you are saying though and think you should challange it. Good luck mate. paul, i was gettin at u or anything for ur comment, i was just using it as an example of how easily it would be for some1 to use ur reg number for the likes of an accident fuzzy
  18. nope didnt admit liabilty to ma insurance either, hes said as there my insurance company they r liable, but i said to him aswell that i was not admitting liabilty fuzzy

  20. u say " liable parties authority".... iv never accepted liabilty. fair enough go ahead with the repairs if i admitted liabilty, but i never, so do they not have to prove who was at fault first before they carry out repairs......... mayb clutching at straws here, but never mind. lol fuzzy
  21. my insurance company says iv no option but to pay it fuzzy
  22. not sure, but surely i should of been notified that the other person was trying to make a claim against me, and for her insurance company to get my side of the story, b4 anything was authorised, but in this case, the first i heard of it is when there demanded over £800 from me for the repairs fuzzy n surely they would need me to agree to take it thru insurance companies, or ask me how i would like to deal with it, either thru the companies, or sort it out between ourselves, but i never got that option either. fuzzy
