  9. ok guys, a guy at ma work has put up a challenge for me to go against him at crail down the 1/4 mile, hes gonna be in a standard escort cossie( well he says its standard) and me in my93 wrx import, so wot u think ma chances are? as i said, cossie is standard, mine has got a decat downpipe n decat centre pipe. i know cossies r pretty quick, but i really dont wanna be beat by a FORD!! so if the chances r that the cossie is gonna beat me, my question is, wot choice mods can i do to make sure that i dont get beat? nothing to expensive, something cheapish but make my scooby quicker. comments greatfully recieved. fuzzy

  12. friday nite i went down to berwick upon tweed, so it was then time to head home, so fuelled up n started heading thru berwick towards the motorway, noticed a few boyracers parked at side of the road, got onto the a1, and so far up the road, there r re surfacing the road, so the road aint that great to drive on, i was sitting about 40-50, then wat happens, on of the boyracers that were parked in berwick came flying along the motorway, hitting 100mph easy, no doubt to go back to his mates n say," i just pissed over a subaru impreza" . wot an idiot, the state the motorway was in i wouldnt of dreamed of doin 100mph on it, oh n it was raining hard aswell, so couldnt see that much if front of u. anyway rant over. fuzzy

  18. you see this is the problem with Microsoft... people are lazy, it would take a small effort to move away from Microsoft and the saftey of what they know even though windoze is eternally flawed, because they hold so much of the market share, they are hard to get away from, personally I wished that I moved onto Linux when I upgraded my lappy, but then you need to go through all the rigmorale of getting the emulators to work to run the various programs that mostly all run on win-doze... might have my linux project later in the year... if ure looking foe linux stuff, gimme a shout, ma mate supplies the discs etc, for it all, ive been using linux on ma other computer for bout 6 months now, think il be moving away from windows totally, n using linux, very soon fuzzy

  23. Hi, It might be worth checking if your GPS unit / antenna is in the optimium position. The more "sky" it can see the better your position will in terms of accuracy. You could still be correct but there are lots of people who put there's beside the A-pillar and end of losing a couple of satellites as a consequence... http://www.trimble.com/gps/howgps.shtml Cheers Cal i have mine sitting in the middle off the windscreen, it wasnt just 1 camera that was out, it was every camera. n now that ive used it iv found it aint as good as the tom tom, i should of held off n got a tom tom fuzzy
