Had my car since feb 2003, and summer just gone was the first time i got spotted. Still i rarely used to drive it then. 2000miles in 3 years.

Sorry to hear about that mate, I know the feeling though, never had problems with speed bumps but had a unfortunate meeting with a high kirb a few months ago. Put several huge cracks in my Jun front splitter. The sound alone is enough to wanna throw up.

Looking more into getting a sti later this year (hopefully, got everything crossed i get a certain job)

The one i saw was waiting outside the main Royal Mail sorting office, i was on foot walking back to my car. So i diden't wave or anything (would have looked like a right nutter), Looked awsome though. As for the meet at notcutts, i think they start meeting from 12pm onwards. I've not been to a sunday meet though, and probably never will, as i'm always working sundays .

Thinking of getting graphics on my car soon. Don't want to go rally graphics, maybe some kind of kent scoobies theme.

I was very boring last night, diden't hit full boost/full throttle once (had my 9mth nephew in the car). STILL MANAGED TO DRINK 3/4 OF A TANK. Edit: who was the black classic with no spoiler at the tolls, dunno if he was with us though. but launched like a lunatic at dartford.

Sorry for not being a unsociable git at the wharf earlier... i was running very late and thought you were al just leaving. Thanks dazzler for speaking to me. Really enjoyed the convoy down to southend, but diden't hang around southend too long. Not keen on the boyracer scene. We should do more sensible daytrips out, like the hastings run, was exellent last year. Thanks once again for letting me tag along.

Got round to washing mine today, not seen it so dirty before... Got a white scooby again now.

Decat made a huge difference to my car, definatly worth the hassle of the yearly MOT. The spool up sound alone is just awsome, the scooby burble is properly unlocked with a decat, really deep throaty noise. As for power, it felt more responsive, and more of a get up and go. Not sure what kind of BHP it gives, Most places say about 25bhp, though tbh i don't think it's half that high. One thing i can promise you is, that smile you had when you first brought the car, will be twice as big once you go decat lol. I warn you now, you will use more petrol though..... your never want to get out of it. Many times, a quick drive to the shops turns into 1-2hour drive.

Thanks for your replys. I have a full decat, and a hks system which means i cannot just swap the centre section (pipe is longer), so i need to try and find a nice garage who can help with decat's or have my downpipe bolted back on. So i would be VERY interested in people who could help decatted scoobys lol. Thanks once again.
