If it is just a top up, would I be best sticking with what they (Prosport) have previously used until I have a full oil change. I presume mixing types of oil isn't the best idea is it?

It's an eu import MY05. Straight out of the box so no mods and not used on a track

I checked my oil over the weekend and spoke to Prosport what oil they reccommend I used to top it up with and they advised me use 10-30 semi. Is this correct?

Just a quick note to warn you that there appears to be a gang targetting Subaru Impreza drivers around Stockport. The latest person was confronted by 2 masked men, one with a shotgun in Reddish who demanded the keys for the car. The police think it is the same people who have confronted another driver in the past. I have also been told that there was another carjacking attempt on Kingways in Burnage. Beware fellow drivers.

I thought I'd be safe with motorway service stations but even one (Knutsford) ran out today.

I am planning on travelling down to the rally on Thursday / Friday night and I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the situation is like with regard to purchasing petrol. I know there are queues thanks to people panic buying but is possible to get fuel if you queue. I don't want to travel down and not be able to get back. Quite a few garages around Manchester have run dry already.

What time did you all go through the speed camera? That camera was there about 2ish. It's good to see the police are spending there Sundays doing something completely useless.

Is this still a common failure on Subarus? Reading various threads on websites it seems particularly common with cars built before 00. Has anyone had a failure on a later car?

Is your car an import?

I have just been online to obtain a quote with Privilege insurance after trying my existing insurance company. Originally my existing insurance company quoted me 740 online but when I spoke to them direct they quoted me 1030 as the car is an import. I have just been online with Privilege and they have quoted me 606. I haven't spoke to them on phone as the lines are now closed but I am just wondering if anyone on here has bought there insurance online with Privilege without ringing and checking if this covered an import. I get the impression there could be alot of Subaru drivers driving around with what they think is a valid insurance which might not be all it seems until there come to claim. Has anyone had any experiences of this? Scoobie elf
