Its a local one[H]. Driving through a rough plantation at the back of the creg ny baa. good views over Douglas etc. Weather will be fine[ip][um], plenty of muddy things. This is the motor sport capital of the world m8[], plenty of major events to come. Just when you think winter has arrived, and all have gone home[|-)]. We start to rally etc again[][]. You will love it.[]

Welcome to the rock mate [] You have timed it right for scoobyfest and our major international rally in July. (Rally Isle of Man. ex Manx international) Its part of the British rally championship. Dates are on the forum somewhere. Have a look at the posts on scoobyfest etc to see what goes on. Richard our regional organiser will sort you out with info, when he gets time from filling vehicles with his petrol etc in Onchan.[] Cheers , Graeme.

Yes it was a sad end to TT []. Posted this thread before i found out what had happened yesterday. Yes there is a tarmac rally, its the Rally Isle of Man.

How is everyone. ? Can we have our roads back yet?..[].. Have you ran out of bacon yet Richard and Margy ?. Ive gone through aprox 60lb of the stuff, per day in the last 2 weeks, lost count of 100's of doz eggs and several thousand sausages etc[+o(]. One more day then off Sunday []. Rally time soon[][]. Who's coming to see these in Peel Sunday ? Just bought my tickets[][][H], can't wait. 27 years in the waiting for this gig. Loved the group since i was 10 year old. Managed to get the wife to go, but may have to go and see the sugar babes on tuesday as a compromise [^o)]. Don't have to listen to them, i can just stare [:|][].

I got a run like that last year in my blue sti. Roads just opened at the hairpin, and i was the first person there as they were removing the road closed signs after a crash. Got the whole run of the mountain, with only a few bikes catching up at windy corner. Cost near enough a 10er in juice to do a lap, but it was the best £10 ive ever spent. I just have the pleasure of running over the top of the bikes now.(only kidding)

As long as your car is less than three year old, you only need to change to manx plates. (correct me if i am wrong Manxies)

Keep away from the centre white lines whilst the island is heading into motor bike mode. Drive carefully, you won't believe the speeds they do on normal public roads.[] Its probably going to be like something you have never expierienced before. Lots are foreigners used to driving on the other side of the road and they forget sometimes. Loads of time after TT to give it some stick. Hope to meet you soon. Im a chef. I used to work for moat house hotels and got fed up, but got all my training etc done through them. Worked in a few more hotels etc and joined an agency, who sent me over here. Never looked back, its such a laid back place compared with the UK, and the amount of motor sport events we have over here, makes it even better.[]. And for a scooby driver, we have lots of unrestricted roads.(driving with care at the same time i must add)[].

where abouts in the northeast you from mate []. Im from Darlington, been here 16 years now.
