  2. Check out Maidstone Engineering on my website, they do all of my metal work, including steel. Or get it to me.
  3. The winterblast at Brands Hatch has been posted up. Check out the link and get your names down. http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=121679
  4. What ever you spend, you'll never get your money back, I speak from experience. You could sell what you have and buy an equivalent Jap import STI that depending on spec will already be running as standard 280 - 300 BHP. Or buy a modified one and save thousands.
  5. I want to do a "Thanks to Herman and Scuzz" Come on Matt - Hurry up and sort out my Graphics
  6. The Impreza Classic is about 15ft long. 1300 cars x 15ft = 19500 Feet or 6500 Yards (approximately 3.7 miles) if cars are nose to tail. This is for Col_2 1 Yard = 3 Feet 1 Mile = 1760 Yards OOPS! Showing my age now.
  7. Daz also told me not to let him drive it. I never listen!
  8. The car was performing exceptionally well until the gearbox problem.
  9. Well it couldn't have been mine!!!
  10. Sorry to hear about your gearbox Monty. Broke mine yesterday at silverstone, whilst being out dragged down the Hanger Straight by an Abbey Motorsport Skyline. Not sure what the damage is yet, hoping it's only linkage. Stuck in 4th or 5th I think, and the gear lever moves around as if there is nothing connected to it.
  11. Cheers Gary, just replied to your Hello post Regards Dean

  13. Not sure if it's something Deano will want to do, gearbox might have to come out. Once it's sorted I think I'll sell it.
  14. I can give them the thumbs-up, they were excellent, however the same can't be said for my driving, or my gearbox. I started braking later and later and hit nearly 150MPH (230 KPH) down Hangar Straight, and had several sideways moments whilst hard on the brakes before Abbey (must remember to complete my braking before turning in). At the end of the morning session, the gearstick seemed to lose contact with the gearbox, and all I had was one gear (4th or 5th) so that was the end of that. Must however say that up to that point I had the biggest smile on my face ever. The car was absolutely stonking it around the track. Should add my thanks to Darin at MLR for putting on a well organised and professionally run trackday, didn't see anyone representing The SIDC.

  16. If Deano paid £200, Hugh must have paid £400 considering the difference in advert size? Or is it a trick of the light?
