I bought a Subaru Fleece (size XL) about a year ago, and when I eventually tried it on it looked like a a tent on me. It was too late to send it back, and to be honest I couldn't be ars**. So if there ar any large KS members (I'm thinking Big J size) who would like an original as new Subaru Fleece (in Blue), I am looking for £25.00 only for it.

A woman takes a lover home during the day while her husband is at work. Her 9 year old son comes home unexpectedly, sees them, and hides in the bedroom cupboard to watch. Just after getting into bed the woman's husband also comes home. She puts her lover in the cupboard, not realising that the little boy is in there already. After a little while the little boy says, 'Dark in here.' The man, who obviously got a real fright not expecting to hear anything let alone from a little boy says, 'Yes, it is.' Boy - 'I have a football.' Man - 'That's nice.' Boy - 'Want to buy it?' Man - 'No, thanks.' Boy - 'My dad's outside.' Man - 'OK, how much?' Boy - '£250' In the next few weeks, it happens again that the boy and the lover are in the cupboard together. Boy - 'Dark in here.' Man - 'Yes, it is.' Boy - 'I have football boots.' The lover, remembering the last time, asks the boy, 'Ok how much this time ?' Boy - '£350' Man - 'Sold.' A few days later, the boys' father says to the boy 'Grab your boots and football, let's go outside and have a game of soccer' The boy says, 'I can't, I sold my ball and boots.' The father asks, 'How much did you sell them for?' Boy - 'To a friend of mine for a £600.' The father says, 'That's a terrible thing overcharging your friend like that 'That's four times what they cost when they were new, I'm going to take you to church and make you confess your terrible sin.' They go to the church and the father makes the little boy sit in the confession booth and he closes the door. The boy says, 'Dark in here'. The priest says, 'Don't start that sh* t again you little pr*ck, you're in my f........ cupboard now'!!

Comments / Suggestions from some of the more mature members (those over Five Years Old) would make a change.

In recent months, members such as Granby, Scoots, Scooby Hoo, Big Jay, and Shiralee (to name but a few) have helped move the club forward. Not forgetting the original members who started it all, Hol, The Guru, JK, etc (Hope I got that right), or Pele who took the helm and probably put Kent Scoobies on the map. The club now has a bank account, Kent Scoobies merchandise, Gazebo, banners, etc..... a big step forward. Personally I would like to see Kent Scoobies which is a good club, become a great club. With the passion and commitment that a number of members have, and support from the rest (numbers growing all the time), I believe The next step should be to formally appoint a committeee (re-appointing every year or two) to "Run" the club as professionally as possible. In other words it is the members who appoint representatives of their choice (No self appointments or dictatorships). I think that this would help stop the constant in-fighting that is obvious to all. Regards Dean

I have recently purchased the domain name www.kentscoobies.com and was wondering if KS members have any suggestions what they would like to see it used for. (Keep it clean please)

Can I just remind everbody that I started this thread asking for suggestions from Kent Scoobies members as to what www.kentscoobies.com could be used for. I bought the domain name as I believe it should belong to the club and be for Kent Scoobies club members to use. In addition, the domain will be able to support "Senior Members" with an e-mail address, for example granby@kentscoobies.com. With regards to the running of KS, I think Pele has been a good ambassador for the club, likewise Ian as SIDC R.O. Big Jay, Shiralee, Scoots, Hol, JK, The Guru etc... to name but a few. Sorry to those that I left out, however it is time to move on, so please would you put the thread back on track and start suggesting a use for the domain name. Regards Dean

I would like to make the following clear to all concerned. I did not buy www.kentscoobies.com to run as a business. Pele did originally own the rights to www.kentscoobies.com, but let it lapse. I paid the arrears on the domain name (2 years I believe) in the hope to get it back for her, but this did not happen. The domain name has been in limbo for the last year, and when I was offered it, I did not hesitate to buy it. I would be happy for the KS Club to put the domain name to good use, hence my request for suggestions from KS club members as to what they would like to see it used for. I do not have any aspirations to run Kent Scoobies, and like most other members think Ian is a worthy R.O. So just to recap. Yes I have bought www.kentscoobies.com Yes I would like to see the domain name put to good use No I don't want to run .com as a business No I don't want to run kent scoobies club as the R.O or otherwise I hope that makes my position clear.

Received the following message from Kent Performance at the end of last week. "it's all spot on inside the box, just needs cleaning and reassembly" So hopefully not too long to wait, then will drop the car off to KP get the box re-fitted.

Ian I would be happy to write to the Top Gear producer(s) with your idea to see if they would be interested in staging it. Unless of course you wan't to do it.
