  1. I certainly will. Running them with Ferodo DS2500 pads, which performed very well on my old RA with the AP Racing 6 Pots. I'm at Brands on 17th July, for the Petrol Heads Track evening, so I've got time to bed them in (gently).
  2. Big thanks to Deano 666 for fitting my new K Sport Brake Kits yesterday. Pictures now posted in the photo gallery. http://www.kentscoobies.co.uk/?p=ViewAlbum&id=9
  3. I've got the original Nardi from an MY95 Type-RA, and the latest Nardi Signature wheel, which came off my STI Type-RA Check out the link. http://www.kentscoobies.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=48
  4. Sorry, but I am unable to attend this event, as the car will not be ready. Dean
  5. I used Deano666 on mine. Found the whole process easy and stress free.
  6. I think after talking to me yesterday, you've just mixed up the prices. I paid £1700 for the AP's on my last RA, but only £1500 total for the K Sport front 8 pots and rear 6 pots.
  7. The Exedy Racing Billet light weight Flywheel is 5.75KG, a standard impreza classic flywheel weighs in at about 10kg, whilst a medium weight flywheel is about 7.5 kg. Check out the webpage below for more info. http://www.rjes.com/html/flywheel_types.html
  8. 3 Months!
  9. The K Sport brake kits arrived today. 330mm 8 Pots for the front, and 330mm 6 Pots for the rear. Had a quick look and checked the rear discs for handbrake drum clearance. Have to say they look awesome. I hope they perform as good as they look. Soon to be for sale - Subaru front 4 pots and rear 2 pots.
  10. I've got an excedy clutch c/w flywheel in my garage if you want it. Rated to + 300 BHP.
  11. Does anyone have or know of an Apexi AVCR for sale. I need one to replace the Greddy Manual Boost controller in the www.kentscoobies.co.uk RA.
  12. Well done Arron and Jon. Great to see you back in the car, and right on the pace.
  13. There's nothing wrong with EBC Redstuff pads (providing they are warmed up). Used them on my original Trackday WRX RA (front and rear), until I upgraded the fronts to AP 6 Pots, still retained the single pot rears with the Redstuff pads.
  14. When Granby booked the space at the BHP show, it was on behalf of The SIDC. He cannot be held responsible if this show was not on the SIDC supported events list. I'm sure the disappointment for most was compounded by seeing how well supported the EVO's were, by the Lancer Register, who also had a stand in the Pit area. Maybe it's time to form a Kent Scoobies events committee, so the responsibility can be shared and not just fall onto the shoulders of just 1 or 2 hard working individuals. Anyway I enjoyed my day, so thanks Ian (Granby).
  15. Sorry Pele, but following on from the BHP Performance Show yesterday, the car is not running properly, so I will have to pull out of the Rolling Road Day at Power Engineering.
  16. I've got 2, hence 200 BHP over standard.
  17. At least 100.
  18. The RA should be producing full power by the time of this rolling road day. More worried that I'll break the car before hand. Hopefully 500 / 500 or more at the flywheel will be achievable.
  19. Please add me to the list deani_age - MY95 STI Type-RA
  20. I've got some spares ones in my garage. PM me your number and I'll call you later this evening. Regards Dean
  21. Yes they are legal, and have loads of tread left.
  22. I have a set of 16" Version 3 Wheels (c/w 205 50 R16 87V Yokohama Advan A038 Tyres removed from my STI Type RA. They were previously up for sale at £225.00, but I'm open to offers if these are the type you are interested in.

  24. Council chiefs paid more than PM. News Quote following a survey carried out on Council Chiefs Earnings. "The highest earner was Kent County Council's chief, Peter Gilroy, who takes home almost 230,000 pounds" LGA Deputy Chief Executive John Ransford said "Competitive wages have to be paid to the brightest people and to deliver quality services". "When senior salaries in the private sector are compared to senior salaries in the public sector, the taxpayer gets very good value for money," he also said in a statement. So we should stop complaining and show more appreciation for the services we get from KCC.
  25. Blimey Shiralee, you're older than me!
