Think the kit may have been for a classic not a newage !!!!! Hence the reason its deeper Never mind though looks like ill be taking the bumper bar off or higher so it will clear ok more work but i like the fact it has a bigger face to it and will take in more air Hopefully the bumper bar is not to badly needed !!!!!!

Scooby Hoo how low is your bumper ?? Whats the measurement between tarmac and bottom of bumper ???

I have Leda coilovers fitted mate although if i want to go lower it may become an issue , if the main bumper bar is not needed ill cut the whole thing out and move it up but need to know or defo before i do !!!!!! The cat is called Sid and his brother Boris was sitting on Peles car watching !!!!!

Though i would add some more pics this time from lower down so you can see the height My last wrx had a splitter on it that was LOW !!!! This does not seem to low to me, but still interested in what height other peeps bumpers are especially blob eye ones

I measured it and i will only be gaining an inch if i cut the bumper bar right out o the way ?? Surely by taking all the metal out i will be removing the strength of the support ? Will it not affect the whole front end also ???? Or it the bar only for crash safety and holding on the front bumper ? Dont really want to cut out the whole bar unless i know for sure it will be ok to ?? Would be curious to know from other members how low there front bumper/splitter is to the ground, as i was running my last wrx with only 4 inches to the floor !!!!

If i cut any more out of it i wont have any left lol, would this not weaken the front of the car ??? It is 5 1/2 inches off the ground as it sits now , is that not high enough ????

Thats why i bought one, i want to have 5 gauges but i know that i will end up with a roll cage so cant use an a pillar pod !!!!!! It was bought from the usa ebay if thats any help

Well got the bumper back on today and the intercooler sits 3 inches below the bumper !!! Nice and good for air flow but now need to sort out a splitter to hide it Maybe i should do the front end conversion now lol the newer bumper is deeper ( i think ) got a few more toys to add hopefully this week end weather permitting A nice set of 2.5 sti injectors Fuel pressure reg so i get constant supply no matter what !!!!!! And i got a nice cowling for the instrument panal, the idea is to have boost and fuel ratio gauges in the cowling oil temp,oil pressure and water temp on the top of the dash in a defi pod so its coming along slowly, just got to alter a few pipes under the bonnet and ill be ready for a remap by the Jolly Green Monster Tony

I have never had springs on my car since modded, extreme scoobies, tsl motorsport and kia performance all put on normal bolts and i have never had an issue at all. I have been using my work bolts for years and they are stainless and weather proof ( never had a rusty one ). Up to you mate but i know where my money would go

Got my gaskets from fleabay no worries mate and we use high tebstile bolts at work ( 8 tonne rated ) and can get you them tommorrow if you like, as for springs i dont use any

Gasket set 9.99 on fleabay and nuts bolts etc free from work you should have asked mate
