Well, what can I say? A very successful meet and I spoke to everybody at least once Thanks to Arron & JK for the suspension at a very reasonable price the car is coming along well - I even got to sit in the drivers seat - the keys were nowhere to be seen tho although I couldn't reach the peddles anyway lol And a big thankyou to everyone who battled through the traffic to make the meet - was quite jammed up in places, look forward to seeing you all again at the next meet

I think people were just reluctant to part with money until they saw what they were getting, or thought I was going to do a runner with the money.... I'm looking into something a little different to the run of the mill polo shirts now.... so watch the forum

I have ordered Bahamas weather, but don't forget the Bahamas do get Hurricanes... This weather is no good for washing cars tho

I already have a company that does the shirts & I've paid the fee for the logo to be set up to these people. I now need people to be willing to pay for their poloshirts up front - this was the problem last time, people wanted to see them before they paid for them & I ended up paying for them then having the hasstle of chasing everyone for the money. I am sorting out the price list with them at the moment - price depends on how many are ordered....

I find a lot of people don't actually sign in on the thread, they just turn up - that first meet, I don't think many were on the list at all, then they just turned up....

Last time it was hot and Joe & I ran, our cars were getting hotter & the times were getting slower - that was with ice packed onto the intercooler....

1. KentScoobies birthday BBQ - not sure where to have this yet, and date will be in August 2. KentScoobies Christmas bash - think it has to be the Tollgate again, as they have rooms so people can stay... 3. KentScoobies Sunday lunch - we need to descend on a poor unsuspecting pub somewhere I think lol 4. Go-Karting event 5. Trip to the beach/camber sands etc 6. Chessington 7. Paintball 8. tenpin bowling night 9. go karting - good track at sittingbourne cheap during the week in the evening 10. dog racing I'll keep out of the paintballing & go-karting, but I'll be happy to keep scores or something lol....

I just don't see why you couldn't have PM'd me first Graham72, then if I'd done nothing you could have put it up - I admit I did loose it a bit back there, but when you read your comments it seems very personal to me. At the beginning of the year when I put the thread up about us being bigger & better, I genuinely believed that would happen, not knowing I would be fighting to keep my car and a few other things - yes I should have asked the others for help, but they say pride comes before a fall, and I fell, so what, we all live and learn - and I'm still learning to accept help when it is offered....
