It was the tuesday before new year and me and my mate where out in the scoob all day just cruisin the Highlands with the camera (as you do when its -2 during the day)!!!! We started off about 10am. Got back to my house bout 4pm, bite to eat, down to the garage then round to his house (about 1/4 mile) He got out to open his gate and pointed at the front of the car!!! EEK!!! Whats that noise?? Loud metalic noise from the n/s of the engine!!! Sh1t!! So i stoped the engine and let it cool down. Wouldnt start!!! Buggger. Left it in the drive. My mechanic at work just hapens to be ex subaru WRC mechanic (jackpot). He had a look. Yip. Timeing belt VERY loose!!! DOH!!!! We took it to bits on Saturday there and put a new one on on monday. Found out that the Timeing Belt Tensioner Pulley had SHEERED OFF!!!!!! We got hold of a new one and put it back 2gether. He says it had jumped 4 teeth!!! This was gona be expensive. We got the new belt on and tried to fire it up. It was turning but not fireing!!! I went outside the work to think about how i was gona afford an engine rebuild AND a house when BROOOOOMM!!!!! It satrted!!!!!! The timeing was slightly out!!! I couldnt beleev my luck!!! 4 teeth out and NO damage to valves or pistons what so ever!!!!! Theres some one up there looking down on me i swear!!!!!!!!

1996 STI 2 with a 1997 bonnet, lights and wings. After market bumper with a little extra taken off!!! Clear rear lights. Full stainless straight through de-cat exhaust with 5" tail pipe. Not much to engine as to expensive if goes wrong!!! Cone filter, uprated plugs etc. Aprox 300bhp. Had about £2k worth of ICE in it till it got stolen 2 years ago so just a basic cd head unit in it now. Once bitten twice shy as they say!!! Full cat 1 with tracker (so if any one is interested in knicking it again, uve been warned!!!)

The place is spot on like. I swear by it to. In there at least once a week!!!! The guy who owns it is sound 2. Really friendly.

....and are hungry, pop in to Harkies fish n chip restraunt. The owner is a good mate of mines and owns a nice moded legacy twin turbo!!! Really nice. Its sits in the layby opposite the restraunt. Was in having a meal last night says all scooby drivers are more than welcome!!! You might even get a discount!!! (dont do me in if you dont)!!!!!!

Sweet. Dont like being left out lol. The blue RB5 with the RBS plate must be a new addition. Its ben floating around all week.

Mines came in to the country with a stainless on it anyway. But i took the cats out so its now, literaly, a straight through!!!!!! I have one silencer left on it and its sounds deep and really loud. I never got mines re-maped. Was told it wouldnt need it. Mines is an STI v2 but was told to reset my ecu and it would do the rest. That was 2 years ago now and NEVER had ANY bother. It runs about 300bhp after a few other minor mods.

Hey guys n gals. New Member here on this forum. Been a scooby owner for 2 1/2 years now!!!! Just moved from Edinburgh to Aviemore coz Edinburgh was just getting out of control with NEDS wanting my car with out asking!!!! Stolen once, broken in to 3 times and even the house was brocken in to to try and get my car keys. When they found out mines wern't there, they took my dads focus instead!!!!!!
