About neo2742

  1. that will be good havent been for about a year, always raining, the last i went to it didnt dry up until the last 10 mins or so and there was a dry line all around the track (1 car width) thats when it got erally interesting have to tack the new MY05 WRX PPP and see if it is better than my old MY95 WRX import! cheers Mickey
  2. Glad you all had a good time couldnt make it this time round though - better weather than last year as it was terrential rain all day then and i span off on my 5th lap and damaged the tracking - result had to drive back to Newcastle at 40mph - not nice John let us know when the next one is will defo be there!! cheers Mickey
  3. does anyone know if its right that all spaces are taken for the 5th March at Knockhill? please say i havent left it too late! cheers Mickey
  4. Ian what condition are these calipers in, how old are they etc? cheers Mickey
  5. yeah i did have a sticky caliper it seems as if this problem has returned, how much do you think for a repalcement 2 pot front caliper anyone? cheers Mickey
  6. cheers for the replys guys iam going to Dundee this afternoon so will give them a bit of a thrashing! cheers Mickey
  7. cheers for all your replys but the discs i have on now are 2nd hand ones beacuse i warped the previous ones so bad that the judder may have disturbed the balancing and they juddered at every speed so much so the pedals, wing mirrors, and steering were all flapping around! opinions? cheers Mickey
  8. hi would i have brake judder on my WRX if the wheels were out of balance also whats the difference between balancing and tracking? cheers Mickey
  9. cheers for the replys guys, i agree with skunk that the geometry etc probably needs updating it also feels unstable on the straights in the dry at 90mph - geometry related? and thats motorway driving! cheers in advance Mickey
  10. well its weird for me just going round the same corners at say 40mph as i do in the dry it alll feels alot more unstable, all i have is T1-S on 17" with standard suspension, oh and the car is my95 WRX import! any ideas or am i just being a bit pussy? cheers Mickey
  11. whats everyone's opnion of them in the wet, coz i have had mine for over 3 months now and think that they are a bit crap in the wet opinions please cheers in advance Mickey
  12. oh wish i could go but unfortunatley i have to work, missed the last one aswell so will have to wait until march next year but it least it gives me more time to sort out new suspension and brakes etc hope you all have a great time, as its hard to beat a good day out at Knockhill!! cheers Mickey
  13. was really dissapointed that i missed this one, but it sounds like fun was enjoyed by everyone, will be at the next one in september how was the weather i bet there was rain in there somewhere cheers Mickey
  14. cheers CAZ but due to your message have just found out about the Loch Lommand run - bollocks, anyway im in Northumberland so next time then cheers Mickey
  15. Hi i have an my95 WRX and was recently at Knockhill and found that my handling was crap - i have standard suspension and 16" alloys with Nankand tyres on the front if i got some 17" OZ racing wheels with Toyo Proxos and Tein adjustable suspension would this dramatically improve the handling? cheers Mickey
