  1. << 22b vents look good, and is that 22b front arches? >> yeah they are 22b front arches, dont think they are genuine ones though, finish the car off nicely i think.
  2. Cheers Mike, sorry to hear about your motor Got the tyre inflated, 9psi no wonder it felt a bit funny! so much for the car being serviced! Should be great fun round knockers, will need new back tyres pretty quickly though!
  3. welcome mate, relax and make yourself at home Col.
  4. how do you de-tango? and what paints best to use on them? got clear indicators coming next week too. Yeah, rear wiper is a bonus. Col
  5. Picked her up this morning, Impreza STI Type 'R' V5 What a difference to my old wagon, it couldnt be any further removed from it. Fantastic gearbox as long as you like changing gear a lot! Everything is nice and tight and well screwed together, suspension is firm but very comfortable. Doesnt even seem too bad on fuel but i will be taking my time until I get AWD to give it the once over and make sure shes running right. Gave her a wee squirt coming off a roundabout to test out the DCCD back end kicks out SO easily, very controlable though and it stepped back in neatly, unlike the tail of the wagon that used to wave about like an over excited dog! Turns a lot of heads when driving through town. Overall I am very chuffed Got this Pivot thing on the dash, does anybody know what it is!? it tells you current speed in KMH and MPH which is cool but i think it has a few other functions but dont have a manual for it! Col.
  6. Traded it Kev, wasnt too much of a sore one really, its only money!
  7. St3ph3n, stripped out the flamer today, and the boost gauge, air/fuel meter, dump valve, radar detector, clear indicators! Will miss the flamer, this one still has the front cat in so wont work
  8. Its going to be damn hard but must resist the 1/4 mile! crail has cost me in excess of 1k in repairs I reckon! Drove the old wagon like I was late for an accident, but I will have to treat this baby with a bit of respect! Fancy a track day though just to see if its as easy to drift as they say
  9. I think the splitter makes the front end look a bit heavy, need some huge rims to carry it off, stick with the winglets and put a scott lowe splitter underneath ( in black!)
  10. I'm no expert but I dont think spacers are very good for your wheel bearings, rather just stick with the OZ rims for just now. Will take some pics tomorrow...well probably lots of pics tomorrow!
  11. 10mm spacers? thats what it needed at least, dont fancy running it with them on.
  12. Heres a clue!
  13. maybe Grant! It should of had some lovely dark Volks rims but the garage tried them on and they wont clear the Brembos
  14. will do, you not got rid of yours yet?
  15. I feel like a kid on Christmas eve! Pick up my new car first thing in the morning

    NEWBIE

are volks wheels that good?! I might make you lot very jealous at the weekend...watch this space!
  20. Just sorted my insurance on my new motor ( which will hopefully be revealed at the weekend) Went with Keith Michaels, to be honest there wasnt much difference between them and about 6 other companies.
  21. Missed very little, been very quiet, even Winston has been hiding!
  22. There was the 'Chopper' next down was the 'Tomahawk' then the 'Budgie' which was tiny. Remember flying along on one and kept pedalling round the corner, bad move, the pedal hit the deck because i was leaning over causing the back wheel off the ground and me eating tar then going home and my mum wiping the grazes down with dettol...argh!
