  1. AP ones are good but TBH.....It is as good an item as the EXEDY ie, if the EXEDY can't cope, the AP won't either Remember your 6-speed is a 240mm clutch and RA95 will have a 230mm Clutch, different total clamping force and area so it'll handle slightly less than yours could. Russell
  2. I can supply you a 400/lb/ft rated clutch for 380 pounds If your clutch has only 6K you should not need to fit a newly skimmed flywhell so that's a bonus. I had one of these on my RA (420 BHP) and it feels like a standard STi unit. It was great Only upgraded it because of the 2.33 going in and we're going to run a "little" more than 400 lb/ft of torque Russell
  3. EXEDY Organic will do the trick I can also get ORGANIC clutches rated for various levels between 400 and 500lb/ft Exedy STI/P1 clutch can do the job as well but youo might want to factor innto the equation the fact that you'll want more power..................we always do! Russell
  4. Frank - your removing the Turbo to fit the Hybrid TD04 so there is only 2 nuts to remove at top of Uppipe ( securing it to support brackets on Gearbox and engine) so it's an extra 5 minutes to remove and replace it whilst the Turbo and headers are off. No need for the heat shields on the headers if they are wrapped TBH. FIT THE UPPIPE! - get the OE Heat shield off it andf WRAP it first! Russell
  5. Depends on whether you want to salvage the OE heatshields on the OE Headers. Look at around 5 hours to remove Headers/Uppipe/Turbo, port andf Polish ALL 3 ITEMS, and refit To remove and replace with new headers and uppipe, your around 2.75 - 3 hours! Russell
  6. Spray it with HT spray paint after as that can stop the water soaking into the wrap and have the exhaust smelling like a wet dog......................unless you like that sort of thing! If money is no option, I've found a place up here that can do Ceramic Coating on the exhaust, etc? Russell
  7. ? Bandit try www.proven-products.co.uk Russell
  8. Cal - you get the "nut-issue" sorted ? Russell
  9. Funnily enough...............There is a place in Aberdeen that can supply and fit it. I know the guy really well :-) BUT....................................................... Don't underestimate the benifit of going to Perth if you feel it is best. Grant, Andy and the boys will really look after you Russell
  10. Choices:- Unichip ScoobyECU Apexi PowerFC Might consider something like the Subaru Z4 ECU if money is a bit tight! Russell
  11. Sorry I couldn't help more M8, but just a case of bad timing! Russell
  12. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAArhg! Pate - had you asked me 24 hours ago, I had 2 sparees which you could have borrowed to check if the coil packs were a problem.but the guy bought both of them! Cheapest place to try would be Ebay! Russell
  13. REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLY? Russell ps - cheers Ian, nice to have met you M8! That is one good looking SpecD you have there, especially the tyres![H]
  14. Sorry M8 - someone must have seen the post I made as I sold them this evening! Russell
  15. I thought you might say that! at least we know through you "testing" that the 20G doesn't have those issues[H] Russell

  18. Especially the VF22's! Russell
  19. I have a set of these, IN BLACK, sitting in the garage if you looking for a set. You know how expensive these are (they are GENUINE OE Subaru items). Make me an offer. Russell
  20. Nice to see your happy M8. Enjoy the car for a while.......then Phase 3 can begin[H] Russell
  21. meaning? I've done 3 so far, an Evo 5 and 2 Evo 7's. So long as you have the engine support and the slide hammer for the intermediate shaft removal (transfer box), its a 7 hour job. AWD could do it for you. Call Grant (01738 633336) and see what he can do for you. Russell
  22. HMM! - Needs a sticker on it...............................otherwise its a BE-A-UTIFUL MACHINE. Nice find, JC! Russell
  23. My post was poorly worded Andy, so I've edited the post with what I meant to say. It also depends on people definition of laggy (when you see Cal in the morning with his VF35 you'll see what I mean, he thinks that is laggy!) Sorry Guys! Russell
