  1. website says underlyn farm industrial estate, underlyn lane. on the B2079 according to autoroute. i don't know that area for toffee so if you see a white sti driving around with a driver with a lost look on his face that'll be me
  2. cheers for that i am one fussy sod so it sounds ideal
  3. this was on my list (it is the one next to DS Engineering isn't it?) but i haven't been in that neck of the woods for a few years. good to hear quality is still good then thanks pele
  4. has anyone got any recomendations of a good bodyshop in the gravesend area please? don't mind travelling a little bit for a good job, need panel and paint work done. it's an insurance job if that makes any difference. thanks:)
  5. it's horrible and i hate it which is such a shame because i love all scoobies up to this mess of a car. i couldn't care less if it was twice as quick as my sti, didn't understeer or didn't have annoying rattles i will NEVER even contemplate buying one. must sound like a right miserable git but i'm so disapointed with what they've done to such a cult car. Mitsibushi stepped up with the EVO, Subaru just threw the towel in. Final nail in the Impreza coffin i'm afraid
  6. stickered up blue hawkeye in Perry Street, i was the white sti nice wave and smile, much better than the blank look from the RB5 by cygnets
  7. sorry for the late reply (thought you got an email to a thread reply? ) total cost with VAT was £270. sounds dear but they pick up and return your rims, take any tyres you may be supllying yourself, refit tyres and re-balance so that saves a few quid
  8. another vote for lepsons, after a small mishap with colour choice they accepted liability and redone them free of charge. good finish and good customer service (getting a bit of a rareity these days!) thread here if you want a look http://bbs.scoobynet.com/members-gallery-5...-you-think.html
  9. lol, i give a thumbs up to evos all the time just coz i like them gets a 50-50 result though! i don't drive round gravesend much now TBH, but i wave to every scoob i see so if i see you hel8itch you should get some response
  10. only one white new age sti allowed per thread i've heard, and i done you by about 5 seconds. sorry
  11. i don't come on here too often but i've got to say the site looks great! pic displays are a massive improvement and general layout is nice and easy to look at/use. top effort to those involved i even managed to get an avatar on so it must be easier to use if i can do it
  12. nah, there's about 4 times as many of yours on the road compared to our faster colour[][]
  13. Oh no not another 1[] *cough* http://bbs.scoobynet.com/scooby.php?profileid=23[] going to be as common as blue soon[8o|] followed by a black L plate along new barn road yesterday, nice and clean. anyone on here?
  14. blimey, they are proper black![H] cheers phil
  15. sounded a bit rude just shouting 'OY PHIL!!' [] frayz has just told me you've got plain black paint on your wheels? i'm after seeing some powder coat type/ matt finishes for some ideas for my rims and as scoobynets search function is pap for us poor people[:'(] i can't find any pics of your car. could you please post up some of your wheels if possible? ta:)
  16. thanks guys[Y] if it's about £40 could well be worth doing, i guess they prefer if the wheels are tyreless?
  17. toying with the idea of getting the winter gold alloys painted in anthracite (loads better!!), has anyone used anyone they can recommend? any links or company names would be much appreciated. ta[]
  18. silver newage sti by broaditch pond, new barn road. anyone here? spotted friday and got a wave this morning[<)]
  19. I am the 1 that keeps this bunch of misfits under control[Y][] welcome to k/scoobies by the way[] oh & you have the best colour your straight into the elite part of the club [H] you may find 1 or 2 owners of more common colours making jealous remarks[] just ignore those thats what i do[][] dunno about more common, but i bet theirs are a damn sight easier to keep clean[] cheers again for the warm welcome[Y]
  20. another white one[H]cool! re-read your post and it makes sense now! bit of a different layout here compared to scoobynet, taking a bit of getting used to!
  21. cheers, guys[] granby - yep, trevor PM'd me on scoobynet saying hi, didn't realise he had a white one until i saw it in members gallery! btw, who is markie?
  22. lurked on here a few times and after an invite off scoobynet, thought i'd say hello:) this is my car,05 type uk sti. it's my third scoob (had a series mcrae then a red 99 uk turbo) and hopefully will be able to keep this one for a few years to come! if you see me around flash/wave etc, i'll wave to anyone me, so you should get a reaction[Y] edit - pics come up a bit funny on here don't they? or have i set something up wrong?
