Handheld radio's are now covered by the same law that applies to mobile phones but good ones will have VOX (voice operated transmission)

The radio's mentioned above will be licenced PBRs and much better as well as more expensive than PMR446s.

PMRs (Private Mobile Radio 446Mhz)) are pants in tin boxes. These hand portables are generally light-weight, low in features, low power and low cost. They are OK for short distance 1-3 km with a good line of sight.

You'll be better off with PBRs (Private Business Radio) for in car usage.

How about a nice Havard CB rig with a K40 mag mount on the roof!!

People could also get mobiles with the PTT (push to talk) option and set them up for this purpose.

Someone asked what would you rather have, a CTR or an Impreza?

Seeing as nearly every Chinese meal around here is delivered by a Scooby, I'll have a Honda.

Having owned a modded classic and driven many CTRs my opinion is that Subaru is a superb all round point to point car but leaves you uninvolved as the majority of us will not drive it to anywhere near 100% on the road.

The CTR involves you more as it is far sharper and feels exactly the way Honda designed it. A track car for the road.

I have driven many variations of the latest Civic and look forward to driving the next CTR which promises even more from the chassis/set up.

All IMHO of course.

What about an ITR (DC5) with LSD then!!

Chuck Rusty has one with silly mods and running about 320+ bhp!!

Look out for Scott Whitelaw's CTR.

If it's pulling OK and showing no CEL it doesn't sound like MAF failure cause it should go into limp mode if it was.
