  11. cheers Guys, but hey, life goes on...and what does the future hold...who knows?
  12. let me make some points. 1. I am a paid up member of the SIDC 2. Most discounts i would get...i can also get through the LADS or Through the CADS(technically SIDC i know) but i still support the SIDC. 3. without the SIDC i would never have bought a scoob in the first (my wagon has gone now, i know) 4. without the SIDC i would not have met the people i have or done the shows etc etc . 5. if we dont support the SIDC and others akin...it wont exist...so you can forget, the shows, any clout we have IM motors or the SWRT. i could go on..... i am not aiming this at anyone in particular...this is my view. and NO i am not loaded...far from it. but hey, life is for living[]
  13. not sure in any prices yet as i have only just taken em off you can see the droplinks here...they should fit a saloon..they wernt bought to fit a wagon..make me an offer. http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/scooby...drop_links.html the indicators wont fit yours Julian unless you have a facelift bumper on.
  14. oh yeah i forgot. MEF Motorsport rear droplinks

  16. no Nige, the project is being done as and when...thats on hold at the moment due to a possible change in direction due to engineering difficulties....ie...it wont fit..lol.....
  17. good pics there Dave.[] although, if you look at the pics in the first post...all the cars seem to have rear wheels bigger than the fronts...strange[:^)]
  18. This may come as a shock to you all but it comes to us all eventually.. after 3 years of ownership i have had to let the Jolly Green Wagon go......its been a great 3 years but " needs must as the Devil drives" or so they say this was a financial decision, not made too lightly i might add, and has been on the books for a good few weeks. but dont worry ill still be on here..and ill still be at the next meet in something. Rob.
  19. all to do with emissions regulations
  20. a quote from one of the posts on SN. "Also, the recirculated air is used to help slow the turbo in a controlled way. With a VTA, the turbo can be suddenly stopped by the drop in pressure and can shatter" he is talking utter tish...the whole point of a dumpvalve being it re-circ or Vta is to stop the turbo from slowing down or stalling..ie let it keep spinning. do not believe anything you read on a forum...icluding this post..lol..get your answer from someone who has experienced it or has detailed knowledge on the subject. i have my VTA on for 3 years, and it s a daily drive....although i do have my standard reicirc on at the moment becoause mine got gummed up and i havent put it back on yet.
  21. doulble check that the bulbs are seated properly...if not..you can get weird patterns, happened with my classic.
